Very friendly place to stay
Lisa Ton 16/07/2017 14:29Very friendly and helpful staff. Big rooms (we had a triple). Comfortable beds. Air conditioned rooms. Good size bathroom. Great garden area (courtyard) for socialising or enjoying a glass of wine while playing cards! Would recommend as a good value, comfortable place to stay.
Mother/Daughter Italian Adventure
Adriana Ron 23/06/2016 01:07This hotel was safe and Charming. It has all the amenities one could ask for. A great location without being right in the middle of downtown because of the great Transportation nearby. The owner was wonderful and very helpful and informative.
Tiny, charming and spotless hostel
muzilluon 11/02/2016 19:19In my experience, hostels in Italy aren't of a great standard. But I definitely was not disappointed by Cimarosa. It's a cosy little hostel, and it's clear that the owners go out of their way to make sure cleanliness is a priority. The room was worthy of a boutique hotel, with a great bed and bathroom. I would also like to mention our receptionist, who I believe was also one of the owners. He was extremely competent and helpful. Highly recommended.
Lovely spot for visiting Florence
95gpon 20/09/2015 19:00Although the hotel is not central the quick, frequent and cheap buses make the trip into town less that ten minutes and very easy to navigate. Alessandro was incredibly helpful and upon arrival pointed out where all the sights were on the map as well as helpful restaurant recommendations. He also booked us tickets for the Academia which saved us the long queue which can take hours! Our bin wasn't emptied and so was a little overflowing towards the end of our stay but that is pretty much the only grumble I have with Cimarosa Harmony and would highly recommend the place.
A little out of town, but worth it.
BiancaCon 19/07/2015 12:18Not the easiest placed to find the first time, but once we were in, getting the bus in and out of town was easy. The are many reasons to stay here. The rooms are big and spotless. The hosts are present every morning and are first rate. The nearby restaurants and cafes are authentic and reasonably priced. The patio is a shaded oasis.
You need to get a bus route map to make the most of being here.
Top tip buy a one day family travel card for €6 from the local tobacco shop. And MOST IMPORTANTLY get it stamped immediately as you board the bus. We did not and received a €100 spot fine.
