OMG!

Where do I start, when the taxi driver finally found it we was dropped off in which was like a derilict street, there was a note on the door saying reception was only 3 minutes walk to collect our keys, from a bar, I thought omg after around I'd say a lot more than 3 minutes we finally found it we was greeted by a very nice young man who gave us our keys and took our cash, we was asked if we took our own towels ?? Anyway he finally gave us 2 for 3 days .. we walked back to the apartment to find we was at the top of this building with creeky floors found our room with 2 single beds a 15inch Tv and a side cabinet for £55 a night I thought ok we can deal with this my husband pulled the beds together only to find 1 was higher than the other .. also a shared bathroom ..shower time the next morning oh me took us around 10 mins to find out how to turn it on (a string near the door) then downhill from there boiling to freezing within seconds ... tea and coffee was available in the lobby and B&B stands for bed and breakfast right! We are still trying to figure out where we could possibly get it as there was no kitchen lol never mind never again unless you want to party with the studios right across the road which lets ppl who are learning to play music instruments and for all the buildings around it being empty apart from THE STUDIO! It's a Main Street to the ferry for Ireland with no double glazing the traffic was unbearable it went on all night apart from a half hour between 3-30 then it was manic again .. I feel horrible for giving this review as the owner was a lovely guy but never again as we were on a high for a visit to Anfield hospitality football game to kind of being ruined with the accommodation

Cheap & close to city centre

alijw2015 on 11/07/2017 15:02

Stayed here with a few friends for a weekend and for a cheap hostel style place it was ok. close to the city centre and very cheap. Not a luxury hotel to take your wife or girlfriend, but fine if going for a night out with friends.

Disaster

What a joke awful place as a group of 8 girls we were petrified middle of nowhere down a back street up 5 flights of stairs no fire exits toilet and shower shared dirty electrical wires hanging out of wall dirty bedding and carpets and price went up while we were there refused 2 pay anymore and we left wants reporting loose stair rails disgusting you have 2 walk down the road for keys then a young lad didn't no where keys were .footsteps in the house during the night very unsafe avoid like the plague

One budget night stay for a night on the town

Stayed here on good Friday and picked this place due to being cheap an having available parking. Arrived to the door and it turned out we had to walk 3 minutes down the road to a shut down bar/squat to check in and collect towels (to then take them back to b&b).

My room contained two beds, a TV and a chest of drawers. Instantly saw a long black hair on the bedding which put me off instantly. Small window with no curtains but blinds that were BROKE, woke up early due to sunlight!! Shared bathroom okay- however, felt funny about using shower mat and did not have a shower in morning due to other peoples hairs (I would personally of liked to wear flip flops).

Kettle available with tea and coffee. Better teabags and a wider range of hot drinks could of been available with mugs not polystyrene cups. Also, breakfast not available so biscuits or packaged croissants could of been provided.

I understand I only paid £40 but I could of paid only an extra £20 to be at the Hilton and would 100% pay that price next time to feel clean and have a decent night sleep.

I would only recommend for young adults planning to be out until early hours of the morning as the room is nowhere you could relax in or even have dinner, drinks before going out ect.

ok if youre stuck for a room

my girlfriend was admitted to hospital and I needed a cheap room for the night. for £20 I wasn't expecting much but it was clean and cheap. although the other occupants were partying until 3am and I hadn't slept for 24 hours wasn't the hotels fault. the walls are really thin and I could hear everything. but all in all for 20 quid its ok
