andrea pon 23/08/2016 18:11I've stayed with them before and there were several issues to do with not having heat and hot water, or a working oven. But money was tight so i thought I'd give them another go.
I arrived, rang them to arrange keys etc, to be told that my booking had been cancelled. No explanation as to why was given.
Apparently they had emailed me 3 days before my arrival date, but I had all the relevant information written down so I didn't think that I needed to check my emails daily just in case they decided to randomly cancel my stay.
After several frantic phone calls I (stranded in Glasgow Central train station with no hotel to stay in) was sent a link to Air BnB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Un freaking believable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
NO MONEY WAS EVER RETURNED TO ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
LOTS AND LOTS AND LOTS OF EMAILS FROM ME WENT UNANSWERED.......TO THIS DAY I HAVE STILL NOT RECEIVED A REFUND OF MY DEPOSIT
LOTS AND LOTS OF CALLS AND EMAILS, STILL NO MONEY
COMPLETE SCAM ARTISTS.
Cooooooooooold
andrea pon 13/12/2015 16:06Things seem to have improved since some of these reviews were written. My friend and I found the flat clean, we were told the heating didn't work, but were given heaters. Then after we payed and the guy who showed us the apartment had left (poor guy seemed annoyed /embarrassed by the whole situation ) we realised that we had no hot water, the oven didn't work and the heaters he gave us were beyond pathetic. This is in the middle of December! !!!!!! We ended up being split between two apartments. The one we were originally given and a 1bed, plan being that we hung out in the one bed and then separated for sleep. Good idea, even better if the second apartment had heating, but it didn't. It had a plug in heater that broke. But hey, it was clean!
comfy

Carol Won 01/06/2015 09:00We stayed at the Bath St apartments and we were stunned at how clean, fresh, running hot water, heating worked. We only stayed 1 night at the 2 bedroom apartment and it was only £44 for the whole apartment.
We returned the following week to a one bedroom apartment in Castle St and again it was spotless, warm and running hot water. Only downfall was: our apartment was 2 floors up and the lift was broken, but the exercise did us good. 2 nights for £65 - awesome prices to get your head down.
Yes I will use them again if need be.
I couldn't even get in...
Douglas Jon 05/05/2015 14:22It is difficult for me to rate this room as I never got to stay in it. This is a self catering apartment, there is no '24 hour front desk' as stated in the description. To be fair the appartment company did email me two days before hand to arrange to meet me to give me the key, but I had left home by then and didn't get the email until I got home again. So I arrived at the appartment at 9 pm and couldn't get in. It is an appartment building with no reception or staff on duty. There doesn't need to be, but if this is the set up it should be really clear on the booking sites that you need to make arrangements for entry. It does say 'you need to call to state your arrival time'. That isn't clear, especially when combined with '24 hour reception'. Glasgow isn't the greatest place to be wandering around late at night looking for a room... So, I don't know if this is a good place to stay. If you do book, be aware you need to get in touch with someone to arrange entry. Other unanswered questions - is there bedding, towels etc. Is the kitchen fully furnished? Very badly organised. I would suggest avoiding this one.
