I was in London, on vocational trip for a week. This was second time coming back to City Continental. I was staying in the single room which is great for one person. It was very comfortable in every way. I really felt that I got more than I paid for. The maids made sure that my room was immaculate on daily basis. The most remarkable experience about the hotel was AMAZING customer service. The front desk team was very friendly and extremely helpful. I was impressed. Anything I asked they were able to complete but the most importantly they were genuinely polite which you do not always get in other hotels. I will certainly stay here again!
Very disappointing Hotel and stay

We were unfortunate to stay at the Continental hotel in earls court between 13th November and checked out today 17th November,,,We changed rooms 4 times on the first day because none of the heating worked in the rooms,,and in one room the TV would not work,,,,so we ended in one room with a portable heater in the room,,,,after complaining the next day to the Manager who was full of apologies the next day the heating in the room began to work,,,the rest of the days on returning to the room it didn't work again so we managed with the portable heater in the room,,,on our last day the fire alarm went off early morning so we grabbed our clothes to evacuate only to be told the toaster had set the alarms off,,,the hotel ruined what should have been a nice holiday in London,,,avoid this place to stay or pack lots of warm clothing.
Nothing works

I booked 2 nights through Expedia. They wrote single room 9 sqm. But I really think the room is really smaller!!! NOT GOOD FOR CLAUSTROPHOBIC PEOPLE!
The first room I got had a dirty shower. The second had a view on the A/C generator very noisy. The third had the heating/conditioning not possible to switch off.
Last but not least: wifi does not work, what is not accettable for business travellers.
Only positive thing: a Spanish girl at the reception sooooo available to solve the problems.
To avoid absolutely.
It's a shame because the area is very nice.
Not enjoyable

Stayed here for a few days during my Europe trip. The hotel is very cute from the outside. Hotel also located in a very beautiful neighbourhood of earls court, conveniently close to great restaurants, a really good supermarket and the tubes. The biggest issue with this was the narrow corridors towards the room, it was a strenuous effort to get the room with our luggages. The room was very spacious but had a terrible damp smell to it. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom modern however small. The hotel is only good for those staying a short time.
