What People are saying

Ok hotel for short stay .

guythediveron 03/03/2017 17:39

I stayed in two different single rooms, to rooms are small but clean and both rooms had a combined shower with incorporated steam cabin.
The breakfast was ok with everyday eggs and bacon and lot's of other things to choose out.
There's a little mini bar but no waterboiler or coffeemaker
The wifi was working fine.
Location is next to the train station, there's a big parking in front, don't forget to put parking disk during day time to avoid tickets.

Good location but a bit noisy

Huge appartment for 89 eur so I was happily surprised.

Very clean. Restaurant was ok and staff nice. Breakfast was really tasty and at affordable price. Only down side his that my flat windows were on bus station side so I did find it.noisy. Not to mention my noisy american neighbor listening loudly some laptop or tv.

No curtain in the bathroom this needs fixing.

Simply good!

Sometimes when you enter a hotel, you feel just all right - simply good!
The location is good, being in a walking distance into a city and in touch with main road for fast access on the other hand. Then when stepping into a room the feeling grows telling you here it´s gonna be nice to stay.
Clean, spacious and cosy not only at the first glimpse but even when you sniff all around. Enough space for not only sleeping there but also for leisuring there, for instance in a great small comfortable armchair with wheels.
A bathroom is accessoried with own heating and a huge shower which lures you just to sit on the floor and let yourself relax under the stream of warm water.
In a reception there I´ve met two of receptionists and both ladies were so kind and keen on pleasing the guest as well as a lady by the bar in the morning for breakfast.
Speaking of which, breakfast is simple and continental one with remarkable choice of teas.
There was nothing wrong except two things. The first one handicap is the possible noise you can experience here - from the main road, especially in the morning, and from AWACS aircraft during their final approach onto the nearby NATO Air Base. Who loves such masterpiece of modern warfare he can cross this out and enjoy its beauty instead a few times a day. For such inconvenience the hotel offers you the earplugs though, you can find them in the bathroom.
The second one inconvenience is the common feature of almost every hotel accessoried with minibar. I paid some money for the room and well, is that really so much to want to have a minibar for free? At least if all the items inside are presented in pairs, what about have the first piece for free and if the guest likes it the second one being charged?
I really hate when paying the money for a room other services are to be paid extra. The most hateful is the extra payment for parking – I´m staying at a hotel and it is most often you get there by car - it just belongs to each other, travelling and a hotel, because the hotel is a place to stay after some travelling experience!
Here, in Geilenkirchen, it is so simple as the hotel doesn´t have own parking lots, except few parking places for the customers of the restaurant. Navigated by the receptionist to the municipal parking lot you´ll find there a solution for free in the walking distance of few minutes, excellent!
If there is any service in a hotel, it should be for free which means when you pay for a room it shall include also other hotel services provided.
May be an utopia, but somewhere it works that way! Lucky guests there are!

Good sized and very clean room. Very good location in city center near to station. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff that can welcome you in English. Cafe Fleur serves local and international drinks and dishes. A lot of reStaurants and shops in neighbourhood.

Nice 3 star with impeccable service

I stayed at this hotel for business. The room was very spacious, well equipped (microwave over, mini fridge) and very centrally located (steps from the train station, the centre of town and a large grocery store). Of particular note, the staff were very kind and helpful. You can choose to include breakfast. I strongly recommend it. It is very affordable and offers a nice selection.
