Room doesn't have air conditioner
The bed is very bad , mattress is soft and bad.
Wifi was poor and bath very basic lacking basic ability to get the right temperature of water

PoolSharkKenton 06/10/2015 17:16Was clean and comfortable enough, the staff were helpful, looks a bit deceiving from the outside but definitely wasn't the worst hotel I'd ever stayed in. continental breakfast was ok, reasonable amount of choice. nice and convenient for local train station
Ok for one night
SunnyKitty85on 12/08/2015 09:13Very simple and outdated but clean hotel; 5 min walking distance from the city centre / pedestrian zone. When I arrived the reception area smelled heavily of smoke but no problem in the room. Rooms are old, need some refurbishment - especially the bathroom. No airco. Breakfast buffet is small but you still find everything you need. Parking available in the basement (7 euros / night). It's ok for one night no longer.
Don't let looks deceive
PeteDavies_13on 10/05/2014 21:36When I arrived and had a look around the area I was shocked and very disappointed, and was wondering if I should try and boo somewhere else. The immediate vicinity is not appealing and the cafe bars and take aways somewhat ethnic (Turkish etc).
HOWEVER, how wrong could I be..
once inside and parked under the hotel, I realised how smart the hotel is. Friendly staff, spacious rooms, all the facilities you need and an excellent breakfast... inside, the hotel is hard to beat. Then having asked at reception, i found that ten minutes walk and you are in the heart of the town, with shops, cafes, bars, restaurants, in fact, there is not much you can't buy within easy walking distance and some excellent places to eat.
From being ready to go elsewhere without checking in I am glad I stayed. Excellent hotel
Basic but comfortable

A basic but clean, and very hospitable hotel. Check-in staff were very helpful and spoke excellent English, under ground car park facilities were great. Breakfast was again basic but plentiful, more of travel-lodge style hotel but with some personal touches. Location was on a main road but room was quiet.
Only negative was that the pillows were rather thin.
Probably not the best bet for a family break.
