Great week at the Lyda Hotel

I have to say when we first arrived first impressions weren't great but we did arrive late and we couldn't see much. However when we got up the next day and walked around the hotel everything looked a lot better. Hotel rooms are pretty big and spacious, the pools are clean and big and the all inclusive food was pretty good too for what we paid for the all inclusive. Beaches are not far away and the hotel has a bus to take you there and back which is pretty handy. The all inclusive drinks are ok but don't expect it to be quality alcohol. The hotel location is pretty good too, 20 min from airport and a quick drive away from some main cities with great views, we hired a car for a day and visited 3 different cities which were recommended to us by one of the girls in reception. We were also recommended to go visit Santorini and I must admit this was the most amazing part of the week, you do have to pay this separately but it is worth it. Service at the hotel was excellent, always willing to help and guide us with any queries. Great week and great fun, weather was also lovely which helped massively...

Club lyda is a good hotel, i was here june 30 till juli 8 and we had a good time.. the rooms are clean and big and the food is good. People are Nice and Will help with everything. Entertainer zara is very good in his job, he is Nice en work hard.
The activities are fun

I'm just back from the club lyda,first of all I'd like to say the accommodation is very good and when your sitting around any of the 3 pools it is a very pleasant place to be,the bar staff are all very good especially nikos he's like one of the boys,the entertainment team lead by zara do a very good job with very limited resources,now for the not so good bits,the female manager was very friendly to start with she tried to sell us an excursion which we found out we could do ourselves for a quarter of the price and when we didn't go on it she blanked us for the rest of the week,I'm not a fussy eater but the all inclusive food and drink side of the holiday was the worst I've ever been on,the drinks were terrible and the food was just as bad,there was 3 days in a row where the exact same food was put out for lunch and dinner and the pool bar snacks that were only out for 1 hour a day was limited to 2 or 3 trays of cheese pastries or sausage rolls a day and that was between a few hundred people,I feel if they sort out the all inclusive problems this could be a great hotel and I would definitely recommend it but as it is i would not

The boys and i came here for a week long holiday and we were not let down by this hotel! We aren't particularly fussy people and we found the food more than adequate despite the poor reviews on it.

Just a few shout outs to some people at this place who made the whole experience fantastic -

Zara - what a man! He did his absolute best all day everyday and gave 100% effort making everyones stay more enjoyable. Came to the beach party with us, gave us Raki, made everything more fun! Loved morning Yoga!

Animation (Zara's assistant) - people don't appreciate how hard it is to party all day and night. You were fantastic and always so much fun!

Katrina - ALWAYS there for you. A fantastic individual who was always prepared to help you out with anything you need

George - my boy in the kitchen, also keen on serving Raki. So much Raki drunk this holiday!

Bar staff - all the boys (and the lovely lady!) got to know us, always fun and friendly!

Costas - don't think you were unnoticed! While being a background man, i saw his attention to detail - especially on cleaning up - was impeccable.

Members of staff like you have at this hotel are irreplaceable and true assets to the hotel!

Wonderful stay for couples and families

Excellent hotel for couples or families. Ample bedrooms and so much wonderful food and all inclusive. Lots of pools to swim in that are very clean and the cocktails are always perfect. Excellent customer service from staff as well. Our family would highly recommend this place.
