Bit Overpriced Hotel
voyager_234467on 27/08/2017 18:27CSM as they call it is nestled among beautiful surrounding hitting right on Baga Beach ... however seafacing villas are limited and pricey in comparison to nearby better options ...there is small garden before beach which is practically of use only if ur able to sneak in it ... complimentary breakfast is good ... it's walking distance to Titos ...
Average property
Aditya Bon 31/07/2017 14:08Average property, old construction not at par with the newly built resorts.
When we entered our room intercom was not working.
Electronic safe was locked.
Around 1 A.M power in our room tripped and as intercom was not working I had to walk to the reception to complaint about it.
Limited coverage of WIFI only in reception area and restaurant.
Weak Mobile signals in the room so One can't use mobile data .
No mini bar in the room.
Although the staff was courteous and attended the above complaints quickly but still it took 15 hours to solve the intercom issue.
Breakfast was above average.
Only good thing about is the location.
Overall property is overpriced for the services it provides
Very friendly hotel!
Lisa Gon 17/07/2017 22:19I would highly recommend getting a taxi to the hotel from the airport as the coach cannot get down the narrow road to the hotel reception, as we found out when we arrived! We were greeted by the friendly girls on reception and given fruit juice to drink as the paperwork was sorted.
We were put into room 201 which is right by the main pool which we were slightly nervous of the music and entertainment being too noisy in the evening but the music goes off at 10.30pm.
The room was cool inside and simple but had everything we needed. A very nice sized room.
The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and all say hello even the pool boys.
It's a little walk down to the beach where we tried the banana boat but preferred Bobbys beach shack. We'd go there for lunch where we felt very welcome by Raj and his team.
Breakfast was good the egg man will do your omelette just as you request which goes down well with the coffee with just hot milk!
We enjoyed the food in the hotel especially the battered prawns but we're disappointed by the steak night as it wasn't steak at all... So we went to a couple of restaurants aftrr that night just a 5 min walk down the road, the cherry olive and our favourite the fire and ice restaurant.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Colonia Santa Maria and like others have said it's a little piece of heaven in the chaos outside! !
Thank you to all the staff :o)
Beach property!
Esmee90on 10/07/2017 11:41It is bang on baga beach-couldn't have asked for a better location. Located in the heart of North goa. Lovely rooms and lovely library and reading room on the property. Two swimming pools and a decent restaurant if you are too lazy to go out.
Green, Widespread, Beach-side property - LOVELY!!!
ManishRamnaniUdaipuron 03/07/2017 06:17We (4 adults and 2 children) stayed here for four nights and enjoyed every bit of this beautiful beach front property - its massive in terms of area, amenities and the way you get treated by people working there. I & my family totally loved it.
Don't forget to spend evening at the beach side restaurants - they are open until 2am midnight - sit, relax, eat and drink. Enjoy the famous baga beach - just walk a few meters from the hotel and you will be at the famous baga beach.
Would love to be there again soon!
