Decent
haag531on 08/08/2017 22:30Got this hotel at a Groupon rate. For the money it was decent. Pretty clean, average size, relatively comfortable beds. There is free breakfast but it's over by 9 am. Would've preferred it to be open till 10 with teens since they didn't wanna wake up early, but there is a McDonalds right next door so no big deal. I think the hotel needs a serious upgrade as you can tell it was an older place. Paint, carpet, new fixtures, etc. would spruce it up a bit. It's also in the middle of nowhere but close enough to Hersheypark (about 30 min) if you're on a budget.
Absolutely perfect - could not have been better
ForeignStaffingon 08/08/2017 04:04From easy access off the highway, to the most wonderful front desk clerk, we were thrilled at the professionalism and cleanliness of this hotel. Recently renovated it is just beautiful. The grounds are perfect for being pet-friendly and the breakfast was beyond expectations. Even the thirst-quenching fresh lemon water in the lobby was yet another touch that shows how much this facility understands its clientele and aims to please. We very much enjoyed our stay and would encourage anyone needing a very comfortable place in the area to choose this!
Wrong reservations
debih1307on 04/08/2017 20:33upon arrival, the front of hotel was littered with cigarette butts and a flat, dried up frog. Found we had a king bed, instead of the two queens I had booked. (Called the hotel direct to make them) Went to take some pills, almost spit them out in the sink, the water quality was horrible. Halls smelled terrible. Asked for manager, Jaon Boers, was assured he would be there at check out. He wasn't. Was also assured we would be compensated for our troubles, don't know if we have been, we were not given a paper statement so I will have to wait for my credit card statement. Don't waste your time or money here.
Suitable stay near Hershey
Katrina Don 17/07/2017 21:27The hotel was just okay-- which was to be expected for the price you pay for it. It's a convenient location right off of the highway and about 30 minutes from Hershey attractions. It's also right in front of a Mcdonald's--which is convenient. The room was my least favorite part. Our tv was unwatchable and fuzzy. The desk chair was broken so that it was stuck at its lowest height. The cushion was also falling apart. The bed was sufficient--but nothing to write home about. The shower didn't seem properly cleaned, as there was rust and hair around the drain. The countertop near the sink was incredibly small and difficult to accomodate me and my travel buddy's toiletries. But again, it was a cheap hotel--- so not expecting anything outstanding. It fit our needs.
I was pretty impressed with the breakfast options. The food itself was great and warm, with a variety of options. They had hot scrambled eggs and sausage, as well as a waffle maker, bagels, toast, yogurt, fruit, and more. They also had a juice dispenser and coffee maker that allowed you to select a classic coffee or a more bold coffee. Unfortunately, there isn't a lot of seating available in the lobby, so we had to eat in our room.
I also felt like staff was very attentive and friendly at checkin and checkout.
Overall, decent stay in a convenient location. They could use some upgrades-- but for the price, its sufficient.
This is a great place to stay!
Crusso77on 01/07/2017 13:26I stay at the Comfort Inn about 4 times a year and I've never had any trouble. The rooms/bathrooms are always clean. The staff is great and on top of it they just remodeled everything and it looks fabulous. You'd be crazy to pass up this place.
