What People are saying
They know how to treat you
Pat Bon 26/05/2017 23:24We have stayed at several Comfort Inns, but this was the best one. The staff is very attentive to the guests. The rooms were quiet. I especially liked how the breakfast area was closed off - sometimes they are in the lobby. If I find myself in Gillette, WY, I will definitely stay at this Comfort Inn.
Not the best Comfort Inn in the chain.
CORedhawkon 21/05/2017 16:43The hotel room was clean and modern and fine over all, just don't look too close. The property isn't being maintained very well, just little things, like burned out lights, or dead plants in planters, etc. I had the TV stand/dresser had 2 broken drawers. The hot breakfast was burnt every day of my stay, because they just turned the warmer up to high, and left it, plus they put all the food out when they started breakfast, never to refill it. The lady that worked the desk in the evening, spoke very little English and she didn't seem to understand how to operate the computers. The gentleman working the day shift wouldn't answer questions about future booking and rates, and seemed to think I couldn't look up rates online, and I got the feeling he just wanted to charge me as much as he could squeeze, but not have to give any more service. Seemed very "shifty"
Basic rooms do not have Microwave/Refrigerator in them only suites, which the desk guy during day was gleefully wanting to up charge for, which are important for longer stays.
My biggest complaint is the hotel is one of the highest priced in town, yet it's not at the same quality level of those it's pricing itself against, so this isn't a very good "value".
You stay one night, you'll probably never notice.
Unexpected visit during snowstorm
Sandra Bon 27/04/2017 16:33We tend to go to Comfort Inns so when they closed I-90 due to a snow storm, we stopped here at 11 a.m. We were able to get a king size room right away. The place was not busy but it was nice they let us right into a room.
The room was clean and fairly large but with no fridge or other extra amenities (we didn't ask for any), bed comfortable mid-firm mattress. The carpet looked fairly new as did the hallway carpet. The faucet in the room was a little leaky but if you angled it just right it would stop dripping.
I thought the lobby was clean and there were cookies provided along with ice water.
Breakfast was as usual in a Comfort Inn. They did have both regular yogurt and greek yogurt.
When I checked out could not find anyone at the front desk so just left a note.
We would stay here again and it was a good refuge for us this time.
A good stop on a recent road trip through the west
gardensailon 23/04/2017 02:01Room was great; had 'splurged' for a King Suite for an extra $11... and it was a very nice room, clean, quiet and comfortable. The hallway and elevator area were not clean and were kind of grim. Breakfast was fine.
Wrestling tournament
Janessa Bon 30/03/2017 03:45Decent hotel for room/price. We stayed in town for a wrestling tournament. Everyone slept well and breakfast was ok. Beds were ok. Noise wasn't a problem. For a family of 5, the stay was fine. Nothing exceptional just ok.
