Gail Pon 19/08/2017 16:15The location and setting are great. The entrance is handicap accessible. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms clean and comfortable. Breakfast includes real Vermont maple syrup! This was our second time staying here to visit family.

LG2Proon 17/08/2017 05:51We were in Northfield to drop off my son at Norwich U. We chose the Comfort Inn for convenience and it's reviews. This location did not disappoint. It was clean, comfortable, and convenient. The breakfast was fresh and the refreshments/cookies in the evening are a nice perk. The staff was friendly and knowledgable. There is an Applebees in the parking lot and they deliver to the hotel. I like the fact that it is close to I-89, plus easy access to Montpelier. Overall, great little find. I have already booked our next couple of trips.
Much better than I expected
BigMerkon 16/08/2017 03:50This was my first visit to a Comfort Inn. I was only in town for one night and there is a limited hotel choice. But I am very happy to have chosen here. Easily located about 3 miles before you get to Montpelier (from New Hampshire) it sits alongside a petrol station and an Applebees.
There is good car parking (free) and the building is 2 storeys. Reception is clean -with free coffee, water, cookies etc - and the staff were very friendly on arrival and departure. The room (206) looked directly out onto the car park (at the same level) and earlier in the evening there was some noise from there and also from the room above. However from about 10.30pm onwards I didn't hear anything. Very comfy bed and a great nights sleep.
The room was of a good size and so was the bathroom.
The free breakfast was good too. There was a lady cleaning the tables and replenishing the food -she was very friendly.
A very good experience all round and great value for money.
Great place near Vt. Capitol
Patti973on 08/08/2017 19:05Location is great, easy to get to, on the outskirts of Montpelier (technically in Berlin Vt). Staff so friendly and helpful rooms were nice and with AAA rate, very affordable. Even the continental breakfast, while standard, was good and staff replenished items and cleaned tables quite efficiently. Easy to get to downtown Montpellier or back on highway to head north to Stowe, Waterbury or Burlington.
Super friendly and accommodating
MadameSnookson 31/07/2017 20:31Montpelier does not have many restaurants, so it was nice that this hotel had free snacks and cookies in the lobby. The front desk staff were happy to give suggestions on where to go in the neighborhood and what sites to see. I have never seen such an area in a lobby with stocked fridges and snacks for guests to enjoy. It was a very nice touch. The breakfast was well organized as well.
