As nice as you'll get in Griffin, GA
Amy Ron 11/03/2017 14:13This place is nice. Clean. Affordable. About $12 cheaper a night then the hotel next door. We did not get to try the breakfast so I can not comment on that. Walls are a bit thin but not any worse than any other hotel.
Mirrors definitely WON'T fog up in the bathroom
Perky51on 18/02/2017 20:14I've experienced hot water taking 15 minutes to arrive at a Ritz but never had water only slightly above tepid turned as far as it would go towards hot - no matter what time of day. Men, bring an electric shaver. Otherwise, the room was quiet & the bed comfortable but noisy when you get out of it. Nice large TV.
Breakfast food area is a bit cramped compromised by the attendant preparing all of the waffles. Attendant makes every effort to keep the counter & catch trays clean by dumping fallen food onto the floor. An hour into the serving time, many items were virtually depleted but gradually replenished between cooking waffles. Choice hotels' breakfast still lags behind brands with comparably amenitied properties.
This is not the worst property I've reviewed but the cutbacks are showing.
The best part of the stay was the young lady who checked us in; she'd only been working a week. Professional & one of the best work attitudes I've ever encountered!

Athleton 12/02/2017 17:46The first experience wasn't great. I asked for a quiet room at the back, and they immediately told me that the hotel was fully booked. I got the feeling, though, that they didn't feel like trying to find one, because I didn't see too many people walking around nor at breakfast, but anyway.
The room was nicer than I expected, clean carpet, big TV, spacious bathroom .. more than ok
The breakfast was poor, but coming from Europe, unfortunately that's a common thing in US chain hotels.
In any case, quite ok place for a night

Steve Bon 03/12/2016 15:56Easy parking right on US 19. Staff was very courteous. The room was clean. The beds were comfortable. We had two rooms on opposite sides of building and found both were quiet at night.The breakfast was good. Recommend and will stop there again.
