Detroit Airport layover late arrival
criticnumber1on 16/04/2017 18:38Glad to have booked one of the last rooms in this hotel after a bad day stuck in airport. Front desk was helpful at check in , but rebooked flight wasnt until 8pm next day. No late check out without paying another $149 rate. Checked out and stayed in lobby for entire day. Comfortable and clean. Breakfast was decent. Overall place was nice and staff friendly, cost of $149 was high and reason for average rating, really a 100 hotel.
Cold, Drafty, Uncomfortable
Driverjoeon 17/03/2017 05:21Stayed in Rm 101. Very uncomfortable room. Cold, the heating system is a window ac unit. Poorly sealed I could see outside around the unit. Either freezing or hot. Took forever to get hot water, I mean like 20 minutes. Cold, hard laminate wood floor. Other than that it was clean, bed was comfortable, but I got no sleep. Day sleeper couldn't darken room well either. I'm not sure if all their rooms are this uncomfortable, or if she gave me their worst room because I use CLC and it pays a reduced rate. Regardless, we CLC users do write reviews and if this is the case the manager should rethink this policy. Overall it looks like an nice hotel in a pretty good area. Room to park an RV or trailer. Tim Hortons just down the road. In case all the rooms are as bad as mine ask to see the room prior to handing over your card. I was really surprised how uncomfortable my room was since it looks so nice.
Clean and Quiet
warren3520on 25/01/2017 20:46A chain hotel with no surprises. Room was good and the bed comfortable. The staff were helpful with an extra towel and called a taxi for us. The hotel is @ 25 minutes from Detroit Metro airport. Breakfast offered both hot and cold choices.
New furniture
funtobemeon 15/01/2017 03:35I stayed at this hotel which was one of two Comfort Inns I was staying at in the area. I mistakenly came to this one first, but was actually on the correct date as it was after midnight. The text message that Comfort Inn sends ought to have the actual address and/or phone number included with the Confirmation # (but that’s something for their corporate office to figure out I think).
Anyway, the hotel/room itself was quite fine. The room was clean, adequately appointed the wifi worked as expected, and the bed was comfy.
Breakfast was an above average continental fan (i.e. it had bacon, saugage, eggs).
Note: on my check out new furniture for the rooms was being delivered.
I would stay again.
Excellent Comfortable Stay and Very Friendly, Helpful Staff
Lynn Ron 25/10/2016 21:27Comfortable room and relaxing stay with a very friendly staff that is helpful and accommodating. Room included large TV Stand w/TV, desk w/chair, chair with ottoman, refrigerator, small safe, king sized bed, and two nightstands. Also included on the first floor of the hotel was a private business office room section at the end of the breakfast room complete with computer and printer. There was plenty of parking and a breakfast room where a nice breakfast of scrambled eggs, sausage, cereal, pancakes, muffins, biscuits, bread for toast, several juice choices, and several coffee choices were available in the morning.
