Red Lion Inn
William Son 14/08/2017 14:15The room was very clean and nicely decorated. The room amenities met expectations. The only drawback was the size of the room which was very tight and cramped or in other words "cozy". The breakfast was standard fare but was more than acceptable.
GREAT PRICE!! NO COMPLAINTS
karyn43000on 10/08/2017 02:33Initially I was leary about the hotel because I booked on Priceline Exclusive. The reviews that are posted on this site invoked more anxiety. The service that I received from the moment that I checked in until check out has to be commended!! The staff is friendly and very helpful. The price of the hotel was great as Manhattan was out of my budget. I felt safe walking from the subway station at 2am. The free breakfast was great. The rooms are small but that is common in New York City. My family took advantage of the dining area which was always clean. Glenn helped me obtain transportation to the airport for a reasonable rate. The hotel offers free coffee, tea, and hot chocolate 24/7. I did not have a microwave in my room but that was fine because there is one available for use in the dining area. There is a small gas station near the hotel which does not close but the selection is small. The room was modern and included a small closet. There is additional storage area under the T.V. The bathroom was clean with modern fixtures. We did not spend a great amount of time in the room because there is so much to do in NYC. The staff was helpful with suggestions on where to order food and how to navigate in Brooklyn. I will stay here again!!! Yes this is a warehouse district but that did not bother me. The blackout windows are awesome. There are plenty of cable channels and outlets to plug in electronics (even for a family of four) Sorry but I have NO complaints. My deposit was refunded within 5 days. I would suggest arriving early for breakfast because it gets crowded towards closing time.
Cheap option in Brooklyn - could be better

Brooklyn hotel
Knarrlundon 28/07/2017 20:16Quite central hotel. With the service you need. Warm summernights its a little tricky to get the right sleeptemperature. The neighborhood wasn´t so nice but we found some really good bars and restaurants closeby.
Good for the price
Jennifer_Ramoson 26/07/2017 22:29We were leaning toward a hotel in Brooklyn because we were traveling as a large family and hotels in Manhattan were out of our budget. We booked this hotel through hotwire and got an amazing rate. The hotel itself was small, but nice and clean. Our only complaint would be that the breakfast room was very small and could barely fit the guests that were coming in for breakfast every morning. Also, the juice machine was broken and no other drink alternatives were offered other than coffee and milk. Other than that the breakfast selection was nice. The hotel is located in a rather secluded area, with nothing but warehouses and empty lots in the surrounding blocks. However, it was walking distance from the Union St/4th ave and Atlantic Avenue subway stations, which was very convenient.
