What People are saying
Comfortable and affordable
Jan Ton 25/06/2017 02:47The room was clean. The pool was a little small and lots of people were using it when we stayed. The desk employees were very nice. The hotel is a little bit older but still worth the stay. We were pleased.
Very disappointed
Melissa Fon 07/05/2017 04:45Room smelled of smoke, small, would not move our family of five to another room upon request. Very rude front desk staff. We left pillows at hotel and called immediately, said we would pick up next day. Had friends try to pick up and suddenly pillows were not available. Never will stay at a "Comfort" Inn again!
Not a Guest
Mollie Bon 05/05/2017 18:25In three bullets:
*no water
*no communication during the 2 am fire alarm
*no care for guests
I was checked in, but not given any internet login info. Under the tab marked "Internet" in the guest book in my room, there was no information. I called the front office a few times, but the phone was busy. I walked downstairs, and the front desk manager was outside talking to friends. Fine, I can walk, so I got the information and went back to my room.
At 9:30 pm, I brushed my teeth, and that's when I found out there was no water. I was shocked that they would put me in a room without water, or if there was an issue, to not let me know. A phone call would have been great--bottled water would have been better. I was too tired to drive to a gas station to purchase my own, and went to bed.
At 2 am the fire alarm went off. I've experienced a fire alarm at a movie theater, and the employees were informing us consistently of the latest news, on when we could go inside, and how we would be compensated. At 3:15 am, a fellow guest told me I could go in, even though the alarm was still going off. I made it to my room by 3:30 am, still not getting any direction from the front desk manager. The property manager never came--perhaps they live so far away that it was too difficult to drive in and assure us our stay was their most important priority. Apparently it is not.
The next morning I asked what, if anything, would the property manager compensate us for. Nothing. It sounds like the water pressure dropped because of construction or because of the fire hydrant being drained, but I never heard for certain. I understand that is the city's fault, but I disagree that nothing could be done. At least go buy some cookies so we had something while we were standing out in the cold for an hour and a half. Anything to show care and concern would be most appreciated.
Staying here is a risk--you may pay for a room, it might be fine, but if something happens, you're not a guest.
Not the quality we expected.
Dee Mon 16/03/2017 22:50Staff was friendly and helpful. The bathroom doorknob was falling off, there was a razor left in the bathroom from a previous occupant. There was duct tape over the door threshold and some pretty large spider webs hanging from the ceiling. Beds were comfortable, although the sheets were well worn. The breakfast was ok. The Quality Inn we stayed at in Missouri was great and that's why we decided to stay at this one. A microwave and fridge would have been nice to have.
Convenient location
Danielle Bon 28/02/2017 03:22Room was clean, quiet and comfortable. If freeway noise bothers you this won't be the place for you but it wasn't very noticeable over the fan of the heat/air. I didn't take advantage of the breakfast or pool but both areas looked nice. Getting to this hotel in The Dark was slightly confusing but not terrible. I would stay here in the future if I am back in town.
