Good stay.
Richard Ron 03/07/2017 03:15Great hot breakfast and friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean but showed wear and tear. Wi-Fi was spotty at best and a couple of tv channels didn't work. Beds were comfortable and plenty of pillows. The pool showed it's age as well. The pool was warm and the hot tub was cold. Notified the front desk but nothing was resolved before we finished swimming. Ice machine didn't work on the second floor.
Nice Hotel, Good price, Will stay again
Tarrah Lon 18/06/2017 21:38We've stayed at several hotels in Brownwood/Early area but this was our first time at this hotel in Early. The location was nice. It's near the small "mall". The Heartland Mall has a few stores and a movie theater with current movies showing. There was a convenient store/gas station next door which was nice for getting late night snacks for the family. There were several good restaurants nearby as well. They were renovating a few areas while we were there but nothing was in our way or disturbing of our stay at all. The pool was pretty clean but was indoor and there was a hot tub as well so it was a really hot area for those who aren't swimming (there to watch their kids, etc). There just wasn't good air flow at all. They had a small fan running but it didn't help much. However, the staff was friendly, the continental breakfast was good, it was quiet where we stayed and overall had a nice time. The beds were comfortable. We will definitely be happy to stay here again.
Top of its class
SeaKaykeron 21/05/2017 14:04This hotel serviced lots of oil field workers. It seemed to fill up every night. Was clean, well appointed, great staff and good sleep. Of this class of hotels, this unit was top of its class. We were there during a tornado that passed ten miles to the north of the hotel. We had a lightning show and hail hitting our window on the third floor.
Overnight Stay With Family
KTroubleon 25/04/2017 04:25Check in staff was friendly and the room I requested online was honored. The room and bathroom was clean and we had no issues with noise on the top floor.
My daughter always wants to go to the pool when we stay at a hotel. Upon entry to the indoor pool, I noticed it looked dirty. However, the hotel is kind of old so I gave it the benefit of a doubt and thought that maybe it was just stained from hard water. First, we got in the hot tub and I noticed the window was open because cold air was blowing in. I went to close the window only to discover, there was no window or screen or anything! Then when we got in the pool I began rubbing the sides of the pool with my finger and the yuck started coming off! Obviously, pool maintenance just involves chemicals.
Other than the pool and hot tub window, the hotel was fine.
Early - Nice Comfort Inn
jetsetterwannabeon 26/03/2017 20:04Working in the area and stayed here 1 night. The bed was comfortable and the room was very nice, the grounds looked very pretty. I wasn't here long so not a lot to review, but when traveling again I will stay at this location again.
