Not a single negative about Comfort Inn
MollyDinkon 23/08/2017 17:12We stayed here one night on our way through town and it was above and beyond our expectations. Check in was fast and easy - the front desk clerk (I wish I could remember his name!) was super friendly and helpful. Warm cookies on the desk were a plus! He suggested a steak house across the street and gave us maps of the area.
Room was big and CLEAN, bed was comfortable with both firm and soft pillows. Bathroom nicely stocked with soap, shampoo/ conditioner, lotion, etc.
Breakfast was much better than expected. Normal cold foods (cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit) but also eggs, omelettes, hash browns, bacon, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, waffles, sausage - TONS of good stuff!
Will definitely stay here next time we're in Gunnison. THANK YOU Comfort Inn for a great night!
Fishing trip
jsmithAmarilloon 22/08/2017 13:52We had stayed here before. Rates are reasonable. Location is nice off the main road. Very quiet. Clean with wonderful beds. Continental breakfast and hostess were very good. Would recommend this motel.
Average Hotel
Fred Bon 14/08/2017 06:36I stayed in the Comfort Inn in June 2017. The hotel is off the main drag which was a big plus. It wasn't fancy but the rooms were clean and not run down. A bonus is their is a super market and a Walmart right across the street. I would stay in this hotel again.

ZenDogAZon 09/08/2017 16:49We stayed here for two nights and thought it was a good value. Our room was clean and quiet. As other reviewers have mentioned, there is an alley and rundown property on one side, which our room looked out on. It didn't really bother us - we weren't looking for a resort. It is close to Walmart, City Market and some restaurants. We chose to walk into town one evening - about 15 minutes. The front desk staff was very helpful and accommodating. The young man at the desk suggested that we park our motorcycle under the front portico, which was really nice. He also looked up the location of a restaurant we were interested in, and gave us directions as we were leaving. Nice breakfast, too. A great choice in Gunnison.
