Nice place to stop
Leslie Don 08/06/2017 18:18This motel is located about 3 miles off 70 in mid Town where all the gift shops are located. It is very clean and the staff is very kind and helpful. I give it only a rating of 4 because the hallways smell musky and old, but that is only in the hallways. The rooms are wonderfully renovated. The breakfast area is clean and well maintained. They have the usual hot and cold breakfast items. A final note, be careful going to and from the mid Town area as it is well patrolled by the local police.
Great rate, clean room
Donna Son 30/05/2017 17:34Stayed for one night after camping for several days. In desperate need of hot water, laundry, wifi and electricity. :) Comfort Inn provided all that for $80~ for a double room near the guest laundry, plus a nice view. Room was clean, beds and pillows were comfortable. Wifi worked well and was free. Guest laundry was clean, with one washer and dryer and detergent machine. A couple quirks at check-in: (1) Because our credit card has flat numbers and they couldn't run it through the old school manual machine, they had to make a photocopy of it. Management really should upgrade that technology. Security is the whole reason I have a credit card with chip technology and flat numbers; and (2) they charge you a $1.50 safe warranty fee which is refundable if you don't use the in-room safe but you have to remember to ask for the refund at check-out.
Other stuff: Room had a TV, microwave and fridge but we didn't use. Hotel offers free breakfast but we only had coffee and bagels. Close parking in front of hotel. I believe Haley checked us in and she was very friendly and efficient. Always nice to feel welcome especially when you show up without a reservation looking like you haven't had a shower in five days.
Came to close on purchase of condo in Ruidoso.
wiggslauraon 27/05/2017 02:27As always, we were greeted by a friendly attractive receptionist and checked in speedily with no hassle. We requested a room near the desk and were accommodated. The room was attractive and clean and comfortable, a good value for a good price.

Two nights in May
Eric Con 10/05/2017 23:02I have stayed here 5 times before. Always clean and well kept property and very helpful staff. Nice HD tv with HBO and all major channels.You can walk across the bank parking lot and go to Lincol County Grill for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The there is great. This is a nice advantage as well.
