Dawn Con 02/06/2017 22:44The front desk people are friendly. Our room is very nice. This hotel was recently up dated and is very comfortable. The room is very clean and the amenities are nice. Comfortable bed and couch. Includes microwave and refrigerator. The pool is great too. Another nice thing is they allow dogs which is a big plus for us. We will definitely stay here again when we're in the area.
nice room, poor lighting in the bathroom
Bruce Pon 13/02/2017 17:00We enjoyed the room overall. It was clean. comfortable and surprisingly spacious. However, the lighting in the bathroom was awful. The light fixtures create too many shadows and it made difficult for me to shave and nearly impossible for my wife to apply her make up.
Nice Inn, Clean and Comfortable

The inn and the rooms are clean and beds are very comfortable. The amenities are what one might expect in a more costly inn; they have a nice pool, an exercise room, and a washer and dryer for guests.
The staff are friendly and very helpful, which adds a lot!
The only drawback I noticed was the lighting in the room. There is no ceiling light, and no wall lamp or desk lamp at the desk, which makes working on a computer a bit difficult after the sun goes down. Oh, there is a floor lamp you can maneuver to shine a bit of light on the keyboard, but adding a desk lamp would help immensely.
OK place to stay if you must.
deluxx1on 26/10/2016 20:17Business trip for work, company has select hotels we must go to. This was the best option available in this town. Old hotel needs update. Lots of plant workers stay here, overall pretty quite for my stay. Reasonably clean and a good job getting the free breakfast out early for people that have to go to work before 6am. Nice job there!! Food about what you would expect for this type of place. Not good but does the job for cheap. Restaurants across street and places to eat close by. Cant say I like the place but it gets the job done, overall friendly, efficient staff.
Weekend away
A3561BKmichaelfon 13/09/2016 03:05We were enjoying the cooler summer weather with a drive in Iowa. We were looking for a place to stay and selected Comfort Inn. We enjoyed a spacious room with a comfortable king bed; TV, microwave and fridge; and enjoyed coffee in the early am. We were welcomed on arrival and sent on our way with smiles. We enjoyed their breakfast in the morning that had so many choices that everyone should have been satisfied! The hotel was clean and comfortable. Although we did not have a pet...pets are allowed. The environment had ample parking and appeared safe.
