Grand Canyon visit with inlaws
Marissa N Ray Gon 03/08/2017 06:25We stopped here instead of going to another city to go to the Grand Canyon. Glad we stopped here in Williams Az. We booked online by accident and it is a great hotel. The rooms are very spacious. The beds are comfortable and the showers look great. Breakfast in the morning and then we are off to the Canyon. There is laundry room here two washers and dryers, ice machine and snack machines, an in door pool and breakfast. Glad there is a fridge and coffee machine and microwave.
Very nice Inn
jhuffman8on 02/08/2017 03:46Very NICE Inn and enjoyed our stay. This location also has a laundry facility that we desperately needed. I need to mention KARLA because she went out of her way to get us in a room on 1st floor at an affordable price without a reservation. Our stay was last September (2016). I misplaced my hotel card and just located it so I really needed to give a shout-out to Karla for going above and beyond to provide excellent hospitality to a couple from North Carolina. Thank You Karla and the Quality Inn Grand Canyon in Williams Arizona. James Huffman
1 night visit to Grand Canyon
Andrea Con 28/07/2017 21:21We had been on a 2 week road trip through, Colorado, Vegas, and California. We were making our way home and decided to make a slight detour to see the Grand Canyon. We stayed only one night. We arrived about 7:30pm on a Wednesday. Check in was fast. We pre-booked through the choice hotels app. The price with tax was $111.15. We booked a Non-smoking room with 2 queen beds. The "surcharge" was already included in my rate and was $7.00.
The room was clean, nothing overly luxurious. There was a pool that my daughter used for about 45 minutes. She did have little scrapes at the bottom of her toes from touching the bottom of the pool. She said they really hurt. I would suggest water shoes if using the pool.
Hot breakfast was fine: scrambled eggs, sausage, yogurt, granola, raisins, sunflower seeds, packets of oatmeal, pears, White & wheat toast, English muffins, butter, jam and make-your-own waffles. They had Orange juice, apple juice and good coffee (which is a plus!)
The hotel is just about a block or two from this "Route 66" strip filled with neon signs, restaurants, gift shops, etc. It's cute, and worth a visit for cheap thrills.
Would I stay here again, probably. But they not at the same price point.
lousy hotel plus they charge $10 UTILITY FEE which is not disclosed in price
Rafal Jon 23/07/2017 21:39Stopped there on the way to Grand Canyon just for 1 night and experience was poor.
First of all room we were given was not clean up after previous guest.beds undone, etc.i guess housekeeper took a day off.Eventually we were given different room with apologies and promise of some credit upon check out (which never materialized).this room was ok but...beds very uncomfortable, lousy old mattresses, neither me or wife got a good sleep at night.AC was loud as a meet grinder,i had to turn it off at night because of the noise. In the morning my son found a live bug inside shower stall.Nasty.
Also TV was really lousy, cheapest one you can buy with washed off colors.Nothing that it matters to me but kids were watching cartoons, you know...
Final insult to the injury was surprise $10 utility fee added to the bill. Definitely i will be disputing it with my credit card as it was not disclosed during booking neither upon checking in.Also i would like to add that this hotel is in average $20-40 more expensive than hotels of same franchise somewhere else.
Breakfast area was small, crowded and stuffy, could use better ventilation.
I would never recommend this hotel to anyone,it compares poorly to others in choice hotels. I would be inquiring with franchise.
Nice Hotel, But Beware Of Usage Charge
PoppyGal63on 21/07/2017 16:16I looked this hotel up on Trip Advisor, and then was routed to Hot Wire for booking. Some of the reviews warned of a surprise fee when you stay at this hotel. Reading the response from the management, I thought that this problem had been taken care of, but it hasn't. In the morning, I received a sheet under my door with the charge. I promptly went to the desk and asked them to take the charge off my bill, which they did. The woman behind the counter told me that all hotels were charging this fee for water usage. I say, raise your rate and have the fee included.
