Mark Hon 21/08/2017 16:00Decent Comfort Inn. In the past they have been of uneven quality, but this one would be equivalent to the new Fairfield Inns.
The room had refrigerator and microwave. My bed was super comfortable.
I'm going to explain why I wouldn't give it better review.
I made a reservation here months ago for the solar eclipse. I called a few days beforehand to to change my reservation from two rooms from three. That went well.
When I checked in at 11:30 pm the guy at the front desk said my reservation was just cancelled and would try to get it back. He did, but it was at a higher rate and i was too tired to argue for the old rate.
He said the reservation as cancelled because my Amex card number had changed. My number changed because of fraud when I was in Brazil a couple months ago. When Amex changes the last four digits it has never affected my Marriott reservations (where I have gold status meaning more than 50 nights a year), my Hertz Gold etc. Even if they're system can't handle it it, they did have my correct phone number and could have called me.
I was lucky things worked out. it could have been a disaster with four kids and two adults late at night.
Great Visit for Purina Farms
scottandrew805on 15/08/2017 19:04Hotel staff was exceptional. Breakfast lady was so nice and greeted everyone that came in. Rooms were clean and beds were amazing. Over all a great stay. Hotel is right off the highway and is very accessible to and from the hotel. If you're looking for a hotel close to Purina Farms and/or Six Flags, this hotel stays true to its value. Very Pleased.
BED BUGS!!!!
Lexie2202on 14/08/2017 04:11BED BUGS!!!!! Laying in bed and bedbug were crawling all over us!!!! Front desk service was terrible. The lady acted as though the bed bugs were our fault and as if she didn't believe us, even though I had caught some and put them in a cup right in front of her! She was not sympathetic nor helpful in any way. She acted appalled when we said we wanted to leave the hotel. Her manager did not answer the phone, so she said we could not have a refund and she offered no other alternatives. She actually raised her voice and yelled at me when I called my mom to ask for advice!!! She said I didn't need to involve other people and that that this was bad for business.... Finally her "owner" answered and she gave us our money back very reluctantly and with attitude... Not happy with the experience at all.
Very close to Six Flags and convenient to restaurants. Just off the highway.
denacarver2016on 30/07/2017 21:42The room was very clean, but the bathroom tile had a crack from one side of the room to the other. The breakfast provided by the hotel is one of the best anywhere. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We needed a roll away bed for the night and arrangements were made easily. The hotel is in a safe neighborhood. We parked in the back with no concerns. Close to some local fast food restaurants. Very close to Six Flags.
Best hotel in the Six Flags area
Josh Son 12/07/2017 23:50The hotel is in a good location and only a few miles from Six Flags St. Louis. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. Room was in excellent condition. Had a nice pool area and a good breakfast.
