Great stay, clean rooms, decent breakfast
John Son 23/08/2017 22:08Pleasant check in. Room and bath very clean. AC whisper quiet. Pillow top bed soft with firm underlayer--perfect for my back. Lots of light for vanity. Decent shower head for water flow. Breakfast: waffles, sausage links, scrambled eggs, sausage gravy & cold biscuits. All other foods you might want for breakfast. Would definitely stay again.
Totally rude front desk clerk.
sarahjane3878on 15/08/2017 02:17We choose Comfort Inn due to the excellent treatment and experience we had while in Columbus Georgia Comfort Inn. How shocked we were when we first encountered the front desk clerk - the epitome of rudeness, room was pricey, and the "free wi-fi" was spotty at best and kept disconnecting. Would give a rating of 0 if it were on the scale because it was beyond terrible.
Family reunion
Vincenzo Don 05/08/2017 02:06We've stayed here before and we keep coming back. Family of 5 and this time we had other family members stay there too. Very accommodating. Our families were up early and stayed up late. Hotel staff was very nice. Breakfast was good only thing after 5 days the same stuff gets a little old. One recommendation I would give the hotel is maybe mix it up a bit. The pool was clean. Hot tub was hot. Laundry area was clean. Our beds were comfy and the room was clean. Overall price was very good.
Best Hotel I've Worked with!
Jonathan Jon 28/07/2017 21:19Our church was holding a conference in early June and needed a good rate for our speakers. This hotel did not disappoint. The service that we received was second to none! Several of our speakers mentioned how nice they were received when they arrived. To quote one of our speakers he said, "This is the best I've been treated at any hotel, they treated us like we were royalty!" That is coming from a man that is now in his 70's. The staff at Comfort Inn in Powell are the best! I would highly recommend them to anyone needing to stay one or more nights in the Knoxville area!
Check In Took Entirely Too Long and They Are NOT Family Friendly If you Are Traveling As A Group
p ton 12/04/2017 22:13Rooms were sufficient, breakfast was average but there was no where to sit because they don't have the room if there are very many eating! There were 9 in our group and we had decided to eat in shifts but only the kids with one adult could sit in there after someone graciously gave up their table. 4 of us sat in the lobby because we didn't want to carry our food up the steps. It was busy with people cking out and waiting for the elevator was not worth it.
When I made reservations, I had requested that we have all 3 rooms close together. (We were traveling with our 2 sons and their families). They promised me they would accommodate those needs. However after we waited for over 10 mins to check in and we were next in line (the desk clerk was chatting more than "checking the person in that was in front of us), when I got to the desk and told him my name he first said 2 rooms. I corrected him and said "No, I have reservations for 3 rooms". At first he acted like he didn't have them and then said "Oh OK, yeah we have you for 3 rooms". However when he gave us the keys they had one of us on the first floor, the second room was on the 2nd floor and the third room was on the 3rd floor! No where close to one another!!! I told him that when I made the reservations I was promised that our rooms would be close together and he said the girl who told me that should not have done that since she wasn't the one who made the room assignments. Because my family was tired and there were at least 5 other people by that time waiting to check in, I decided not to make an issues of it but I will not stay at this location again. There are plenty of other choices within this area.
