Simply Outstanding

A friendly smile to greet you is always a good start, and that we received. The room was outstanding with the most comfortable bed you could wish for. No in-house dining was available on the night of our stay however an Italian restaurant that delivered was recommended. We certainly weren't disappointed as the meal arrived hot, fresh and succulent. I would certainly recommend The Lawson to anyone wanting home style comfort with great hospitality.

Clean, well appointed, recently refurbished motel. Easy walking distance to restaurants and town. Off street parking. Excellent friendly service. Comfortable bed, great shower. Will stay again on next business trip to Wagga.

Quiet, clean and central location

Great room in an older building that has been updated internally. Comfortable bed, good shower, close to several restaurants, pubs etc. A 20 min pleasant walk into the main shopping centre. Plenty of parking. Would definitely stay again even though you have to carry your bag up the stairs if you're staying on the top floor - no lifts.

This was a comfortable hotel. Modern and well appointed. The hotel is in a great area with restaurant options and pubs close by.
The service was very good.
We were there in the middle of winter so the pool wasn't an option but looked ok and the restaurant seemed closed, which didn't matter as there were so many places to eat.
We stayed downstairs but I think any of the renovated rooms would be OK.

Staff were very friendly rooms were clean and tidy, however the shower and bathroom were a bit dated. The restaurant was used only for breakfast and very large portions. You did get your money's worth. We stayed 2 nights and were very pleased with the place.
