An excellent choice
anacreon100on 05/11/2016 21:45There is quite the quality range within the Comfort Inn brand, and this facility ranks right at the top. It has the usual Comfort Inn footprint and amenities, and what often sets Comfort Inns apart is the attention to detail, condition of the facility, and cleanliness. In each of this categories, this particular facility scores top marks. It even passed the "under the bed and behind the furniture" cleanliness test with flying colours.
It is located right on the eastern edge of town which is convenient for travelers...if that is what you are looking for. Rouyn-Noranda is very hilly, and this facility is perched on a rock outcropping that results in a steep entry to the parking lot. Can be tough to maneuver with a large vehicle, but not a big issue - just worth noting for drivers who are not used to that kind of challenge.

BlahBlah22on 30/06/2016 20:07A clean hotel , good breakfast and helpful staff. Upgrades should be done but overall a nice place for the cost. The hotel is lacking a conference room that can help with s group of people . Not much around hotel but located on a street that easily accessible to other parts of town.
Funeral of my aunt
Lizzypoo28on 04/07/2015 03:18I really have to commend this hotel! My family and I had to go to my aunts funeral in Rouyn and I was totally amazed by this hotel! The front desk clerk was so friendly and the new renovated rooms were absolutely fantastic!! Also we were amazed by the free breakfast buffet! wow!! We had scrambled eggs with sausages, they had waffle machines and hard boiled eggs, yogurt, cereal, juice coffee etc... Everything was fresh and simply delicious!!!! The ladies that worked at the front desk the next morning were wonderful!
This made our trip a it more easier considering the circumstances that we were there because of our loos of a wonderful aunt! Thank you so much Comfort Inn

Exceptionally comfortable bed and pillows.
Service was excellent. Slightly odd, but convenient fact...the vending machines sell beer.

maninthewoodson 30/06/2015 03:12Nice enough hotel nice rooms with decent shower. I made reservations on line for this hotel. wifi worked just fine and the free breakfast is OK. I had called to verify there was a space I could park in the back my RV and get to it from the room. they have rooms that have outside access. I've been here before 3 years ago. No problem the lady said. I get here and they have me upstairs. They charge $10 more for the rooms downstairs. That wasn't the case before and not mentioned on the website. I think this is scalping. I won't stay here again. They are all bi-lingual
