Disappointed
Lostloverson 01/08/2017 01:41We paid a bit more for our room, so we could treat our grandsons. The room was clean, but small, and the pool was much smaller than expected, so very crowded. The worst part of our stay was the shower. The water would get so hot, it would burn you if you did not step back out of the water. Then it would turn freezing cold. One of my grandsons is disabled and we could not give him a shower. When I complained at the desk, the clerk said, "The water temperature fluctuates." I explained that it is extreme fluctuation. She never replied or apologized. Another customer at the desk overheard me and she said it was not just my room, but her shower also did this. She said she could not put her three year old in the shower. I would never stay there again.
Recently remodeled
johndarron 26/07/2017 23:21The rooms have been recently remodeled and are very comfortable. The staff is fantastic. Very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel. I travel a lot and will definitely stay here the next time I am in the U P.
nice hotel
659josephcon 29/06/2017 20:20we stayed here for one night on our circle Lake Michigan tour. The hotel is located just out of town about ten minutes from the Soo locks and the main shopping district. The hotel sign was still a temporary sign covering the former hotels sign. The room was comfortable. The breakfast included was fair.
Nicely renovated

I must say I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms were nicely renovated and clean. The breakfast area was nice. There was a pool but I didn't use it.
I would definitely stay here again.

Stacy Hon 12/02/2017 16:55Nicest place we have stayed at in the soo this far. Decent free breakfast. Nice staff and small but nice pool area. Room we stayed in had a jacuzzi tub, refrigerator, microwave, desk, table and bar sink. Has a few quirks but would definitely stay here again.
