Not bad
Shawn Fon 18/01/2017 01:02I stay in a hotel four to five days a week and this hotel is no different than the other economy style motels. Some cleaner some not so much but overall this one was pretty decent. I've stayed in much worse and I've stayed in much better. Aside from a few minor dings that come along with age such as drywall patches the room overall was comfortable. My room specifically and I feel most importantly was definitely a clean bathroom, sink and bed. The older gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and accommodating and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. I would stay here again in the near future.
Roach Infested – Rude staff
ommc2907on 12/10/2016 21:34When we got to the room (room # 211) we saw a roach alive coming down on the door frame. I went to the reception to ask for my money back the attended did apologized and cancel my reservation but when I ask for proof that I will be getting my money back she said that she can only provide a cancelation letter but the letter did not stay I was getting a refund, then I asked her to write an statement at first she did not want to but after my insistence she wrote it but she refused to sign it, she stated that she don’t sign anything for no one and that I need to call the next day to talk to the manager. So, stay here at your own risk.
Basic, all that we needed
Robert Fon 19/09/2016 02:30Basic basic basic. Small, small, small. Cheap. Cheap. Cheap. Basic breakfast, but consistent with the cost. Quiet, comfortable, clean. Just across the road you can pay twice as much. Why? Well, to get some sleep, perhaps. The window unit was very loud, and the room too hot if we turned it off. Still, if you're frugal like us, you'll like it.
Stay somewhere else!!!
2dogbeachon 13/06/2016 04:52The gal that checked us in was hilarious but it went downhill from there. Sent us to a smoking room. Told her we booked nonsmoking and she told us if we booked on a travel website, nothing is guaranteed. We've never had problems elsewhere. The next room was nonsmoking but reeked of mold and must. You could see the mold on the ceiling and walls in the bathroom. The carpet and bedspread was worn and dirty looking. The blow dryer looked like it had been used in a domestic dispute, the face of it smashed in. Breakfast was horrid! The eggs were powdered and nasty, the waffle batter was like water and tasted funny, the sausage was bad and the coffee was cold and icky. When we checked out we had some questions for the front desk lady and she seemed like we were bothering her and told us to call Choice hotels directly. Also, the big sign outside says it's Econo Logde, not Comfort Inn. Lots of shady characters staying and hanging around too.
The outside sign says "Econo Lodge Inn and Suites"
gmill411on 03/06/2016 18:21We have been trying to stay at The Comfort Inn for overnight stays during road trips because they usually have comfy beds. We set our directions for this hotel and we couldn't find the sign that would read Comfort Inn, we just saw the Econo Lodge so we thought we had typed the wrong address when we got there. The website and check out receipt does say Comfort Inn but not the sign outside. Basically this place looks like an old Econo Lodge on the outside but once you get inside your room it does have the Comfort Inn beds and soft bedding we have got accustomed to from a Comfort Inn. To me, you pay a little more for a Comfort Inn then you would for a stay at an Econo Lodge. This place falls between both accommodations.
