Nice Find

We were on our way to Ferrisburg to check out a dock building company and decided to stay in Rutland for the night instead of pushing on. Thanks to Trip Advisor we found this hotel. It was perfect for what we needed. It was clean and comfortable. Nice size room with a nice size bathroom. The bed was very comfortable with very comfortable pillows. And enough of them. The price included breakfast and it had a nice variety of items hot and cold. But the true "gem" of the place was Emma the woman in charge of the breakfast area. She kept everything stocked and clean and neat. As we sat and ate our breakfast we heard her talking to people and though there must be a lot of regular guests that morning. She greeted so many people by name and knew their preferences and interacted with the young kids. She must have known them. Nope. They were guests same as us but she chatted with everyone as if they were old friends. As she chatted with us she answered questions about local attractions and local history. Truly a lovely person who genuinely enjoyed people and her job.
Another lucky find was the restaurant that shares the parking lot. We were given a coupon for a discount at check in and all we needed to do was walk a short distance across the parking lot and we had a very nice meal. And not have to get back in the car to get it. Very convenient If we find ourselves in Rutland again it's nice to know we won't have to search for a good
place to stay.

Great start to our vacation

The staff was very friendly. My large family used four rooms, and each were clean and accommodating. The breakfast offered something for everyone and all had places to sit in a large open breakfast area. One of the best experiences that I've had at a Comfort Inn. The only bad thing would be the configuration of the building. It has two buildings combined into one, and the breakfast area is in the opposite one from the office.

Government/military discount made this a great bargain

Very comfortable room--updated, clean, working A/C, quiet.
Due to other commitments, I didn't take advantage of the offered breakfast.
Only one elevator in the area I stayed in and it was a long ways from my room. Since I was on the second floor, I used the stair at the opposite end of the hall--parking lot just outside.

Stayed here while on a golfing trip (Lake St Catherine Golf Course is nearby); this Inn is wonderful; priced right, my room (King suite) - was so clean, spacious, had a nice fridge, microwave and large shower/tub; plenty of walk around room...looks brad new. The staff was so courteous and professional.. Hot breakfast was just the start we needed to get going. We will stay here again! No doubt.

Our stay was wonderful, we encountered very helpful front desk staff. I wish I could remember their names! The housekeeping staff was great and very helpful, we were there for multiple days. The extra coffee was awesome. The breakfast staff were very courteous and the food was good. I liked the option of bacon and or sausage.

We didn't get a chance to use the pool facility but it looked very inviting and if we had more time we would have loved to check it out.

We would highly recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Added benefit was the low rate for being the parents of a comfort employee here in Canada!

Thank you for a great stay, we hope to check it out again someday!
