Although I found the staff to be unfriendly and not accommodating, the hotel was clean and acceptable. It is in a convenient location, near the mall and plenty of entertainment and restaurants. The complimentary breakfast was fine with a reasonable selection of options.

Friendly staff. Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast area was clean and well attended to. We always look for Choice Hotels when traveling.This one was in a grat location with access to restaurants.

Nice Hotel

We sent the night and left the next day but the room was comfortable with some signs of wear but not bad. It had a refrigerator that worked great. It also had a couch and coffee table which I thought was over kill. The air was to close to the side of the bed. The breakfast was good and a little above average.

Always a nice place to stay!

A great hotel, as usual, for our overnight stop! The staff is so friendly, the rooms are clean and it's a very decent breakfast. We really enjoyed the cocktail hour! A nice way to relax after traveling all day.

The amenities and staff were both nice, though the staff was soemwhat confused.

When we arrived, there were 3 people working the front desk, one other person registering. When I registered, the following ensued:

The young man who registered me asked for a credit card to pay, I informed him it was direct bill he did not need my credit card for the room, he persisted a while and a young lady behind the counter informed. Then he claimed the reservation and the rate were wrong. Then she added the company name to the reservation. Then she changed the rate. Then the other guest at the end of the counter commented "make sure they don't put other people’s charges on your credit like they did with me" as he walked away. After I believed they had it straight, I gave them my card for room charges.

My wife and I went to the room a I laid down for a few minutes after unpacking. The phone rang. I answered the phone, the voice on the other end said "Donald", I said you have the wrong #, the voice came back "then who is this?", I responded "the person called, not named Donald", the voice on the other end responded: "I need you to tell me who you are?" and I responded "I am the person that is going to hang up the phone and give you some time to figure out who you are trying to reach", the voice responded "well, this is the front desk"; to which I responded "I do not normally respond to anonymous phone calls demanding my name, however if you are the front desk you should say so from the onset and you will get a different result.". The young man apologized and said he thinks he registered me in a room reserved for someone else, do not worry about it - I'll take care of it."

About an hour later I went out to smoke a cigarette. When I returned, the young lady who was at the desk at check-in was alone behind the desk. I mentioned the call to her and she responded "I was here and I heard it, I do not know why he approached it that way. We put you in a room reserved by someone else, so we put them in your room, it is taken care of." I asked, since you have it taken care of, I am sure you made sure my credit card was held against the right room", she responded: "Yes". I said "good, I am going to pick up some drinks and snacks and charge them against the room." I picked up a couple of bottles of juice and a few snacks and returned to the counter and asked her to charge them against my room." She responded "you know what, we did not put your credit card on file".

I pulled out my credit and asked he to first confirm that she did not have it, because I had already given it to them. She assured me that they did not have it.

The next morning my wife and I loaded the truck with our luggage; I left to do business the business I came for and I notified the desk my wife would pick up the receipts for the room and room charges.

When I returned I picked up my wife. As we were driving up the road, my wife mentioned that they refused to give her any receipts. I asked her to explain, she said the young man (different than the night before) told her that we were "not entitled" to the receipt for the room because the company paid direct and we did need the other receipt because there were no charges. I turned around and drive back, my wife walked with me to the door, pointed out the desk clerk and then opted to remain in the truck while I went inside.

I approached the young man who was behind the counter and I said : "I stayed in a room last night registered in my name, I gave a separate credit card for room charges and charged about $10.00 in snacks. I need your help, some new untrained idiot told my wife when she checked out that we were not entitled to a receipt for a room registered in MY NAME because it was direct billed to someone else, and that we have no charges on our own card to receive a receipt…this confuses me, because within 60 seconds of your making the charge to my credit card, Bank of America sent me an email notification. What I also need is each receipt, and your help in making the manager aware of this individuals complete incompetence as a front desk clerk - so we can get him the training he so desperately needs. “The young man looked at me and said "Yes sir" as he dropped his eyes to the floor, printed off my receipts, handed them to me and said he would make sure the manager got my message."

The room was very nice and clean. The breakfast buffet was basic and satisfactory. The staff was generally pleasant.
