Great Room

The room was really great and exactly as pictured even a bit better.
I had a really good stay except for the last 2 night when I got annoyed by loud teenagers partying up till midnight. Keep in mind that this hotel in located in a kind of industrial area so not a lot to do around if you don't have a car.
Well located for my needs. Somewhat 15 min. from downtown Atlanta.
The only negative point I have is the fact that the breakfast is exactly the same every morning. I gets boring quite fast.

We stayed here 2 nights for a basketball tournament. The room was clean and really spacious. We had a double with a sleeper sofa-large enough to sleep 6. There was 2 tvs in the room as well. The breakfast was good. The service wasn't very good. I had to ask for bath cloth and towels several times before getting any. From 12 noon to 8pm, they said they had to dry. I asked several times from 12-8 and that's what I was told. I would stay here again because of the great price and the amount of space in the room. There's also an indoor pool that the kids enjoyed.

Not convenient for air travelers

We missed our connection and had to spend the night in Atlanta. We called the hotel, which promised a shuttle within 30 minutes, then made a reservation on line.

Alas, we waited more than an hour for the shuttle, while watching other hotels' shuttles come and go every few minutes. If the reservation were refundable, we would have canceled. Same problem with the return shuttle to the airport: it departs from the hotel only once an hour, which meant that we had to arrive at the airport earlier than needed.

On the plus side, the price was reasonable, the beds are comfy, and the fitness room and pool looked clean. We weren't there long enough to use them or to eat breakfast.

On par with fancier hotels.

I stay in Choice hotels when I travel for business because the rewards program has quick returns. I was extremely surprised to find this hotel suite on par with the bigger chains. Granite counter tops, very comfy desk chair, and updated furniture. The bed was very comfortable and the room clean and plenty of space. The staff is also very helpful (I kept shorting out my key card and they politely exchanged it all three times without extra comment). The only draw back I had was the Sky Bar restaurant. It could use a refresh/improvement. It had a cheap feel that did not fit the rest of the hotel. It needs more decor and other touches to give it that lounge feel you expect from a hotel restaurant. However, the burger I had was very good and the prices were reasonable. Overall a good stay.

Unexpected stop

Due to an FAA emergency, our trip home was short circuited and we found ourselves stranded in Atlanta at 1 am. After several failed attempted to find a hotel with vacancies, we reserved a room through booking.com with Comfort Suites. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we learned that they were sold out and they didn't even have a room held back by the manager for just such a case as it had already been sold. When we explained our plight, having been dropped off there by a less than friendly cab driver, Reckeitta, went out her way to help us. She told us they did have one room that, while clean, was in need of some minor repair. Desperate for a place to clean up and rest for a few hours before our new flight the next day, we were happy to accept her offer. To top it off, she immediately offered the substantial military discount when I showed my ID. She did all of this with a smile despite the fact that it was 2 am. We found our room to be clean, comfortable, and a safe harbor. In the morning, we were whisked back to the airport on the hotel's complimentary shuttle service. We are grateful!
