Best Customer Service in the Industry!
paintedp0nyon 14/08/2017 05:12The VERY BEST customer service in the entire industry! SERIOUSLY! I made a big mistake in booking our room… like, a really dumb mistake… I booked the room for 5 nights instead of just one. Normally not a problem, but I used the guaranteed rate… which doesn't allow for refunds. So I was charged over $500 instead of the $100 that I was expecting. Stacy and the General Manager, Suzanne Moffett were SO understanding and helpful! They not only helped me out but also upgraded my room for me! They are AH-MAZING! From now on, if there is a Comfort Suites nearby when I travel, I will definitely be staying there! Thanks so much ladies!
Room for 3 adult women
chaynie2015on 09/08/2017 12:19We were traveling the longest yard sale route and we finished our long day in Crossville, TN. We asked for a room with 2 Queen beds and a sleeper sofa. It was perfect! We had plenty of room, the room was spacious and clean. The free breakfast ws very crowded but the food was good.
All Comfort Suites are not created equal.
rtrvrtrnr01on 07/08/2017 23:28We had stayed at a Comfort Suites in Danville, KY the night before so were really looking forward to another stay. This Comfort Suites was lacking. The person that checked us in wasn't very welcoming and didn't tell us about breakfast hours and only upon request told us to eat at the place across the street, the Brass Lantern (more on that later). The lighting in the bathroom area was awful and the bathroom tile wasn't as clean as I'd like or expected after our other stay. The bathroom area also had these drop ceilings that made you feel like you were in a cave compared to the rest of the room. The walls were paper thin and we had to listen to our neighbor cough all night.
When we looked at the place recommended for dinner on Trip Advisor we starting questioning if it was a good choice. After standing in line waiting for them to clean a table (apparently they only cleaned them when there was someone waiting to be seated) in the dated establishment and reading the limited and very stuffy menu we decided to leave. We found ourselves at Catfish Cabin about a mile down the road and it was AMAZING. So don't go by the hotel's suggestion.
The next morning we were anticipating breakfast. The previous morning we'd had homemade biscuits and gravy, delicious eggs, crispy bacon and sausage so was expecting the same. Instead we found watery eggs and greasy sausage. I decided on a waffle only to discover the plastic silverware was so cheap I couldn't even cut my waffle without bending the knife in half and then all they had was the most sickeningly sweet syrup I could barely eat it. In this day and age not to have sugar-free syrup available is beyond me.
I'd go with one of the other restaurants in the area before staying here again.
Great Place to Stay
Susan Con 07/08/2017 19:46Stayed here for the 2nd year in a row while traveling the 127 yard sale. Once again, this was a great place to stay. Clean, quiet and the staff is excellent. Great location with a lot of restaurants nearby.
Great place to stay on a road trip.
Wilma Jon 03/08/2017 14:44Chose the hotel for location on a road trip to east coast. Easy on and off interstate 40. Great check-in process Receptionist baked fresh cookies for my husband (Stacy). Hot breakfast was more than expected - included in room charge. Highly recommend. Great hospitality. Very clean.
