Nice hotel in the downtown area

This hotel is nice and tucked in close to the river in the downtown area, although it is a short walk to get to the river and other things along the river. They have a nice parking lot that unfortunately has a parking fee per night. The lot seems big enough that it wouldn't be an issue for them to have free parking. The room was spacious although there were large amounts of dust easily visible behind the couch (without moving it, just looking down). Wi-Fi worked well and breakfast was excellent.

Decent hotel near downtown

We stayed three nights while vacationing in Savannah. This was a nice hotel that was within walking distance to the historic district. They had a free shuttle that we did take advantage of twice and was a nice perk but most of the time we walked to and from where we wanted because it was close enough. The rooms were nice, spacious and clean. Breakfast was good but the breakfast space got a little tight trying to walk around. Only complaint I have was they charged $10 for parking ($20 if you aren't a choice privileges member). I just don't agree with charging for parking at a hotel when they had their own parking lot. We've stayed at hotels where they charge for parking when they don't have their own parking lot and have to park in a public lot nearby but not when it's their own parking lot. But that being said I would stay here again if every visiting Savannah.

terrible service, rooms in poor condition

Our room was very dated, the carpet looked dirty and the bathroom was gross. We notified the front desk and they offered to come vacuum it (shouldn't that have been done before we were given the room?) Then the next morning we asked for towels at which point we were told there none, and to leave our towels outside of the door. We did just this only to come back 4 hours later and we still had NO towels. How does a hotel not have spare towels or even washed towels within 4 hours? Owning hotels, I know that it can get busy but when a hotel doesn't have towels in that span it is a bit ridiculous to be honest. I was given bath mates to use In place of bath towels. Very highly disappointed. The only good part about this hotel was the shuttle service. The front desk clerk would barely listen to what we had to say before hanging up. WILL NOT STAY HERE AGAIN!

This hotel is placed in the Historic district of Savannah, Georgia, as it easy walking distance. The hotel also offers a free shuttle service to anywhere you would like to go. The hotel has an indoor pool and hot tub, HOWEVER, if it is raining hard or there is thunder and/or lightning, they close the pool. Was not very happy about that. Other then that, the service was pretty good, and the hotel was overall clean and nice.

Room needed some work.

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel. I will say that it was clean. There were some things lacking, no towel bars in bathroom, the tub needed up grade the bar that is normally on wall of tub was missing, the safety hook on the door was missing. You could lock it with the two door locks, but the one you pull over the other one, the part on the door was missing. The TV was a frustration! Sometimes it wouldn't change channels and the 2 times we had the hotel personnel come up to check it by the time they came it started working. I wonder if the next person who stays in the room will have the same problem.

One nice thing about the hotel is that they offer shuttle service to town and will pick you up when you are ready to return.
