Purdue Move In... Nice hotel for the money... Clean and friendly staff. Fitness room small but adequate. Swimming pool walls open to the outside. Close to shopping and restaurants. 15-20 minutes to Purdue. We'll go back. 👍👍👍

Money very poorly spent

When we arrived the room was dirty. The curtains were dirty, the walls were dirty as if someone had spilled something on them and housekeeping didn't bother to clean it off, the bathroom was dirty, the counters were dirty, the carpet was wet and sticky and filthy, the sheets appeared clean (with the exception of a makeup smeared pillowcase), but after seeing the rest of the room I didn't trust it. We went directly to Walmart for cleaning supplies and our own sleeping bags and essentially did housekeeping's job for them. We should have known the place would be filthy when we walked in and saw the very green pool.

That was issue one, but many more followed. On day two of my hotel stay, the hotel ran out of towels. But of course nobody bothered to tell me this, they simply just didn't put a single towel in my room. So, when I went to wash my face and reached for a towel, surprise! None to be found. So, dripping wet, I wandered down the hallway to a housekeeper who informed me that they only have one washer and dryer, so they just plum ran out of towels to replenish in the rooms. She assured me that I would get towels as soon as they had some available. Of course, that didn't happen. Instead, come morning when I'm ready to take my shower and head down to breakfast, I still had zero towels. Ridiculous, but not the most ridiculous thing to happen during my short stay.

As if the plate wasn't piled high enough, my door also kept dying. But nobody bothered to change the battery the first THREE times it happened. Instead, I had to keep running up and down the stairs telling them the door died again, after which they would come up the stairs and beat the living hell out of the lock in an effort to get the last bit of juice out of the batteries until finally on the last day of my stay they got maintenance up to the room to change the batteries, but only after he tried to solve the problem by once again, beating the lock.

So, to sum it all up, I think everyone at this hotel needs retraining (if they trained them at all), and until they get it, your money is better spent probably anywhere else. Try the Holiday Inn Express, it was right by the Walmart.

One of the worst hotels we have stayed in, not worth the price.

We were in town for a 4 day weekend to visit family. The pocs on the website were very decieving. The beds were regular full size beds that were in need of being replaced, sagging and not comfortable. The AC did not remove the moisture out of rhe ait so the room felt damp. The refrigerator was working but leaking in the carpet. The TV only had 2 channels working. The pool was green. The breakfast was ok the scarmbled eggs had the pepper shaker lost in them, so bad I could not feed them to my daughter, another morning they had "omlets" with some sort of cheese sauce in them, not good. We stuck to cereal and pancakes. The towels were good the shower had good pressure the tub, I cleaned before giving my daughter a bath. The bathroom was probably the best part of this stay and the bathroom really wasn't anything fantastic. We will NEVER stay here again. Go to the Holiday Inn express, La Quinta or any other place.

Easy to get to off the highway. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was nice - hotel overall was pretty clean. Breakfast was very good - had both waffle maker and a puffy pancake maker, and both regular and chocolate batter - nice outside the box options.

DO not stay here, save your money

This was the only hotel that had room that was available after driving for for10 hours. We were charged $155.00 to stay in a filthy, falling apart hotel with a green pool. The hot tub in our room had mold growing around the sides. I stopped at the local grocery store and bought bleach to clean it before I even showered in there. The handicap bars in the tub and near the toilet were hanging on by one screw, this place was disgusting to say the least.
