Nice location for Cincinnati visitors

This was a well-located hotel. The room was clean and mostly comfortable. On a busy road, but traffic calmed down after 11pm. Plenty of restaurants nearby, nice area, and near the pedestrian bridge that takes you to across the river to Cincinnati proper plus great jogging or biking paths. Convenient parking. Nice people.

Good night stay for a baseball game

We arrived at the hotel at 2:30pm. When I approached the front desk to ask about checking in the employee stated "I can't check you in for another hour". I'm sure there were rooms ready and after our 3 hour drive would've been nice to be able to check in, but we were understanding. The hotel is located right along the river and a short walk down there was a festival going on we walked around in. The Newport Aquarium was up the stairs along with little shops. We got back to the hotel at 3:30pm to check in. Process was quick and I received the river view room requested. For a suite the room is a little small. Nothing stood out as overly impressive. It appears the hotel has had renovations, but the bathroom looked to be poorly done as far as paying attention to detail. We had a king bed and a pull out sofa. Enough for our family of 4. Watching boats on the river was fun for all. There are a couple restaurants within walking distance. We were there for a Reds game. The walk to the park is decent, but enjoyable. We felt the bed and pillows were great. Breakfast was very busy. Food was ok. Overall stay was good and I would stay here again.

clean place, great location, friendly staff

The lobby is small, but the staff is very friendly. They have covered parking at the back of the building. It is within walking distance to a lot of places. Also easy to get Uber or Lyft from here. The room was nice sized and clean. Bed comfortable. The breakfast on the second floor is pretty good. Eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, waffle maker, cereal, bagels, yogurt - the usual for a simple continental. The best part is the breakfast is until 10 am on Sunday mornings which is nice when you had a really late night on Saturday. We had no issues finding the place or during our one night stay. They do have a work out room and a laundry room also on the second floor.

Disappointed on many fronts

When checked in air did not work and had to move rooms after unpacked..neighbors saw us move and said theirs did not work well.. did not see sign that no service except every 3 days and affronted that wanted towels...no racks to hang towels to dry. Front office peopl very rushed and hard to find but nice...had to park across street at Joes Ctab Shack as have 140 rooms and less than 50 spots although let someone park their RV there one night...dirty overall. Had safe but unaware had to pay until checked out...small sign inside on back of safe. Only positive was breakfast provided even though had to edit on weekend to get the food.

I was in a jam. I needed to spend Saturday night in Cincinnati and I had no reservation. It was 3:00 pm in the afternoon. I'm sitting in Starbucks with a computer searching for a place to stay that was under $500. No good choices however just across the river the Comfort Suites seemed to have pretty decent reviews. At $300 for one night, it was pretty steep indeed but I jumped on it based on the relative positive Trip Advisor reviews. Mistake. I stayed in on of their suites at the end of the hall on the 5th floor. Room faced the river. To say the room, it's furnishings, and decor were "dated" would be a gross understatement. And speaking of gross, there was my room. Frayed carpeting, filthy throughout. Glass mirrors covering the closet were streaked where the cleaning staff is obviously not tall enough to reach the top of the mirrors. Two large, long hairs at eye level greeted me when I entered the shower. The caulking has completely turned yellow and separated from the tile. The tables and other flat surfaces were not cleaned. My King Suite had no lamp or lighting on one side of the bed. I could go on, but you get the idea. Very telling when I check out of the hotel. I was the only one in the lobby, I asked to check out, was handed the recept and sent on my way.. She knew better than to ask any type of interactive question like "how was your stay?"
