We checked in on a Friday after eating at the local steak house. Our rooms were nice and clean. We left early the next morning. After reaching our next destination, I realized I had left our kindles in the hotel. I called and spoke with Rebecca, she located the kindles and had them fedexed to me. Wow!!!!! Talk about customer service. She went above and beyond. That was so unexpected, to find a place that just makes you feel truly appreciated as a guest/customer. Simply amazing.

Worst customer service ever!

This hotel had the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I travel all over the world and have never had anyone talk to me the way the man at the front did today. He told us their computers were down and we needed to leave and come back. He didn't offer a time to come back or anything. We are very tired and just wanted to be able to lay down in the room we paid for so we asked if there was a way he could put us in a room and come back later to check in when their system was up and he got very mad told us to leave and take our business elsewhere if we were unhappy. We asked to speak to a manager and he said my manager isn't here and you can't talk to him and he had the authority to tell us to leave. I think I have the right to talk to any manager at any business. I can tell you if I ever talked to a customer the way he spoke to me I would be fired at my job. So we will be taking our business else where from now on.

Renovations were 99% complete when we checked in. Rooms were large, clean and fresh. The staff was friendly, helpful and always seemed to be at their post. Breakfast was included and unlike most free breakfast hotels, the bacon was very good. They also had a waffle machine. It's looks like a long way South of I40, but it's doesn't take long to get there. We were on a two week road trip, and this was the best value by far.

We booked a room last-minute via phone while on a road trip with our family of 5 (3 kids under 10). We lost cell service while booking, and when we were able to call back I spoke with a different person, but our reservation-in-progress had been communicated by the previous agent, and we were able to just pick up where we left off! Very impressive customer service. They are renovating, so there were definitely signs of ongoing work, but that didn't bother us. The actual room was phenomenal!! Huge and spacious, felt very restful, super clean, and we wished we could stay longer! Breakfast was excellent with lots of options. Payed about $20 less than our hotel the previous night, and this was SO much nicer. We would definitely stay again!

The Comfort Suites South is a value for the price. The location on the south side is convenient to the freeway which makes it easy to get to any area of town. The staff goes above and beyond to be of assistance.
Some interior remodeling is underway but the rooms remain nice and clean.
Complimentary breakfast is adequate and cookies with coffee available most of the day.
