pgppgp653on 15/05/2017 22:43Probably the worst hotel I've ever been. No free WiFi, no mini bar, uncomfortable pillows, no gym, rooms too far away from reception, REALLY SMALL BEDS, location in the middle of nowhere, the receptionists are either boor or have no idea what they are doing.
We asked for an iron for the next morning, there's only one iron for the whole hotel which is located in the washing room (no laundry service neither, you have to wash clothes yourself with washing machines), no amenities (only a gel and shampoo 2 in 1).
I post pictures of the room and from the laundry room for all of you to see the lack of coziness. DON'T BOOK IN THIS HOTEL.
Simple, no frills, university-like accomodation

Check-in was friendly and efficient. However, we asked if the hotel had restaurants and were told it had two; we asked if we needed to reserve and were told it was not necessary. What we were NOT told, until AFTER we had checked into our rooms and deposited our baggage (and car keys) was that the restaurants are all closed in the evenings and the only way to get something to eat is to wander around the neighbourhood and find something.
The rooms we stayed in were in the A and B annexes at the rear of the hotel - a long walk away and in separate buildings.
The immediate impression of walking into the annexes is of a pleasant but prison-like layout: Large, open space in the middle, with rooms on three levels, on either side, serviced by stairs and simple and very slow lifts. The rooms are modern, clean and small, with single beds and small TVs and small bathrooms; very typical of a student-type residence. The facilities in the rooms are adequate, the TV has English and German channels and the shower is excellent, with hot water and plenty of pressure. The Wifi is available but through a third party.
The beds are poor, with lumpy mattresses and impossibly 'flat' pillows. The heating is difficult to control and the only way we could manage was to turn it off and open the windows.
In general, we found the staff very friendly and helpful. For the price (55 Euros per night excluding breakfast), you cannot complain but you will not get any luxuries or food in the evenings.
Business trip
Antonio Lon 18/11/2016 14:37A typical hotel to be used during trade fairs, with a good service, specially at the reception. It is huge and with good conditions to conferences, meetings, etc.
A poor bar service with no food at night and since it is a little isolated should have a restaurante running at nigh.
It is all about expectations...
Tim Kon 22/09/2016 20:53If you arrive looking forward to staying in a stylishly refurbished training centre, with a breakfast served in a cavernous hall delightfully reminiscent of a school cafeteria, then you won't be disappointed. The rooms are college style and ensuite, with a single bed, TV and a table. Downside is a feeble, unstable and expensive WiFi arrangement with T-Mobile, no restaurant facilities and spartan furnishing. Variable pricing meant that a modestly priced room on Wednesday was increased by an eye-watering 100Euro on Thursday. 10 minutes walk to the river and a couple of decent restaurants.
Not a Hotel as you know it
Bozmanthegreaton 13/05/2016 18:47This is not a tourist hotel, it is mainly a conference /training facility. The rooms are the worst I have ever stayed in being no more than student rooms with no tea/coffee making facilities, and my south facing room was unbearably hot both day and night during the warm weather even with the windows open and there is no air conditioning. The food in the restaurant was varied but far to much salt. It also closed very early in the evening with no other food/snack outlet in the hotel and the bar was the worst ever with a coffee machine that was never turned on so you could not have a coffee in the evening if a beer was not what you wanted.
The one star is awarded for the conference facilities and the cleanliness of the establishment.
