What People are saying

Very tired and wildly overpriced

jpreston430on 14/07/2017 21:02

Talk about trading on past glories. This place is long overdue a massive revamp. The rooms are tired and far from comfortable - mine was boiling hot, had a window that wouldn't open and an air conditioning unit that sounded as if someone was riding a Harley Davidson round my room all night. The breakfast is adequate, but no more than that. A shame as it's a charming, wonderfully sited building and with a little care and attention could be great.

Pleasant outdoor dining

We had a very nice meal out on the front porch of the inn. The staff was attentive and friendly, and quick on their feet when a huge downpour came through. We had salmon, salad and the baked stuffed cod, all very tasty.

Not quite what I expected

My group was "upgraded" to the offsite property across the street. It is a house converted to several suites with a wrap around porch entryway. The porch was littered with cans on one side and on the other side was a baby carriage and other storage. The livingroom/kitchen has a loveseat, chair, and kitchenette. The bathroom is tiny but does have a tub. The bedroom is spacious with a king bed and a tube tv. Rooms have window unit air conditioning.

Just what we wanted for the family trip

The building is old a quirky, but I can't imagine going to Concord and not staying there. We had a very good dinner out on the patio. I found the service to be very good. The rooms are updated, though small.

Tiny room, Rusty nails on the floor

iceblue26on 03/07/2017 14:39

First of all, we have given the colonial Inn a lot of business in the past. We had all our wedding guests stay there 2 years ago. I recently booked a stay for my parents wedding anniversary and was very disappointed.

Don't book online. Call them to make sure you get a real room.

We stayed in room no 2 (main Inn Queen). The room is tiny ( much smaller than what was advertised on their website). There was no carpet on the floor and rusty nails sticking out of floor boards and curtains rings.

My mother stepped on a nail on the floor this morning and I pricked my finger pulling the curtain.

You shouldn't need a tetanus shot after visiting an expensive hotel.

Not worth the 460$ we paid for 2 nights.

They have real nice rooms that are worth it - but this one was not.
