A Calm and Relaxing place near São Paulo

This Hotel is not exuberant in the accommodations, mas very thoughtful and in the service. The rooms and not fancy but clean. The swimming pool is very good, lots of sun, but also shade. Near the pool there is a fuzzball and ping pong table. The hotel was converted from an old country house, with a historical architecture thus providing the charm and charisma.

The food at lunch and dinner is not restaurant level, but it is good and I don´t expect to be Michelin star. The breakfast is very good; lot variety in breads, cheese and cold meats. You can also have fruit, yogurts, cereals and the usual things. The plus is the making of the omelets by demand. There is also an afternoon tea that I can´t comment because I did not attend.

Just one more note, the rooms with a view. The view is to the forest, but in the middle there is the passage of the other guests. To see the view the window must be open, but then everyone that passes will also see your room.

Fabulous retreat just 60km away from Sao Paulo

An adorable weekend retreat, just 60km away from Sao Paulo. Jacuzzi, saunas, tennis, swimming pool, snooker, a great cinema room, walks in the nature, lovely rooms, lovely food, everything you need to get rid of that stressfull week.
My favourite things were the little stone pool, with super warm water looking at the starry sky, the afternoon meal inspired in Minas Gerais and the lovely breakfast with plenty of delicious choices.
The service is amazing, by the way!

Beautiful setting, comfort and relax

My wife and I went to Confraria Colonial over a winter week end. We took an upgraded room, with a Jacuzzi. The room is very comfortable, king sized bed, good hot water, hot/cold air conditioned. I did not regret it, other guests complained their bathroom was very small, and there was no chair to put things on -or sit in their room. Architecture of the ensemble os very nice, reminding a real old fazenda from Minas Gerais. Nice infrastructure, hot tub, nice pool, sauna, and trails in the forest. The neighbourhood seemed weird. Not much to do outside the complex. There is only one restaurant, but the food is very good. Breakfast is also well served.it is a nice hotel if what you want is to relax. Not much to do outside the hotel. It is all about being comfortable for the lenght of your stay

Great hotel with great service

The hotel is located very close to Sao Paulo (60 - 90 min drive) in a beautiful, hilly landscape.
The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated in a colonial style, the suites even offer a two-person jacuzzi in the bathroom.
Breakfast and meals are freshly prepared and served. (Definitely taste the home-made pão de queijo - you´ll get addicted to it!)
Service both in the reception area and the restaurant are great - always trying to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable.

Great hotel to rest or work

We held a workshop for 25 in the middle of the week so we had the hotel just for us.
Great convention room and all the facilities to have a good event.
The location is perfect, in the middle of nature, lots of hiking paths and great surroudings.
The room has a good size and is very confortable.
All meals were amazing, really good food.
The pool and other leisure rooms seemed fine too.
Definately will come back with the family.
