Repeat Stay
kittypauson 01/11/2016 19:59The room was very clean and close to the front. We could see the pool from our room, but it was too chilly to swim. We were within walking distance to downtown Cheboygan, and close enough to Mackinaw City to go there as a side trip. This was our annual road trip to see the beautiful trees of Michigan in their fall colors. We were not disappointed. The owners of the hotel were very sweet and I would stay here again next year when we do this trip.
Old US 27 Tour Destination
Geary Bon 29/08/2016 00:37Great location one block from downtown area / end of Old US 27 where car show was held. Had a 2 bedroom unit on the second floor in the first bldg. Nice room, blast from the past furniture yet clean and comfortable accommodations. AC wall unit worked great - kept the entire place cool. Very friendly office staff. Doris was very helpful and provided lots of information about the accommodations. I recommend this hotel and will stay here again! Nice pool but did not use it as it was cool and raining while I was in town. Lots of ice from the ice machine. Has a charm of yesterday.
Pleasantly Surprised
gouldgwon 17/08/2016 14:31The office staff was very friendly. When I opened the room door, it was a little outdated. However, you should never judge a book by its cover. It was very clean. very comfortable stay, close to the island. I will be back, on our families next trip to the island.
Average Hotel Stay
bryan524on 12/08/2016 17:24This was your average hotel stay. Nice clean and comfortable room with a flat screen TV, microwave, and refrigerator. The Inn had an outdoor pool that I didn't use but it looked nice and clean. I would stay here again.
Decent four night stay
Emily Son 10/08/2016 02:51Stayed for four nights while visiting family up north. Booked room kind of late so we had to get a two bedroom for two people for the first two nights. They offered to let us stay in the same room for the one bedroom price so we wouldn't have to switch rooms halfway through. Lower rates than other hotels in town (most of which were full).
Room is outdated but a good size, microwave and mini fridge. TV was old but we had good WiFi in our room. Air conditioner is a window unit that was in the bedroom we chose to not sleep in so it didn't reach the main room too well. Bed was a little hard for our liking but big bathroom and good shower. Only 2 out of the 6 outlets that surrounded the bed worked which was annoying.
Refreshments in lobby such as drinks and light breakfast items (muffins, doughnuts). There is an outdoor pool but we did not use it.
No option to ask for or not need room service.
Good location at the end of Main street and about a 20-30 minute drive to Mackinaw City.
Overall the hotel did what we needed, provide a place to sleep at a reasonable price. Would probably stay here again.
