We made a booking for a couple of days in this place via MakeMyTrip which offered the best deal on the same.
Location of this place is around 10 min walk from KSRTC bus station in Madikeri. It is not a forest or plantation stay but enough and centrally located within the town.
The manager was kind enough to offer a early check-in.
The rooms of this place are cosy and nice.
Staff is warm and helps in arranging and sightseeing or recommendations for a must visit place.
Cons- they could improve on their bathroom hygiene where bindis and stickers pasted on the walls and mirrors aren't removed (gives a very feeling as if I'm staying in a lodge).

Dirty rooms . Moisture everywhere.

Rooms are not cleaned properly . Supider webs in bathrooms. Disgusting. Painting jobs not good . 1 room filled with too many dust . Location is good btw. But should improve . Too much noise car horn etc...

Coorg shell is located near to the KSRTC bus stand and everything is easy accessible. its a well maintained homestay. Breakfast was good. The rooms are good and a very pleasant staff. The shelves provided in the rooms are a useful addition. The room is smaller when compared to the photos.

It is with in heart of town and not in forest. Bath required some hangers. Charging points are less and are of old patterned pins. 3 cars can be parked. Dinner can be ordered from inside room. Raja seat is nearby.

Decent place, good food, good hospitality

Stayed in Coorg shell for 3 days in October 2016, The place is clean, decent, and located in heart of city. Also very near to good vegetarian hotels . The breakfast provided is tasty and hygienic. The staff are very cooperative in guiding places to visit and arranging cabs.Even we gave order for dinner one day which was also very good. We booked Deluxe House Package(contains 2 bedrooms). Also have free wi-fi connection. Overall experience was good when we visited this place. Will surely recommend for friends and relatives.
