We stayed in this hotel only for one night on our long trip to Italy. It is ok hotel. Clean, nice staff, good location.
However there were few things that made our stay peculiar. First of all, there was no air conditioning. It's a little bit strange for me that in modern hotel there is no AC. It would be not a big thing if not for temperatures around 30 degrees. It made our stay less comfortable then we though it will be. Especially that we did not feel really comfortable leaving window open. From our room you can go out to balcony which was run alongside entire hotel, so someone could enter into your room if the curtains would not be rolled down.

No "Feng Shui" - uncomfortable stay.

First the positives: Friendly staff, clean, modern hotel within walking distance of the Alt-Stadt in Freising, which is a charming town.

However, the rooms are very small, even though I was told I was given an upgrade at checkin. My room was stuffy with no ventilation. I slept poorly, and woke up in the middle of the night with a headache. In order to get some ventilation i had to throw the window wide open despite the security risk since my room was on the ground floor. The room had a table fan but it did not help much as the problem was lack of fresh air and blowing stale air about the small room did not help. On hot days I imagine it gets much worse as most of the rooms face west and catch the afternoon sun.

The bathroom was clean and modern looking but the water from the shower came out as a thin mist. One literally had to hold the shower head close and run it over every inch of the body to rinse the soap off. There is also a temperature lag, so difficult to adjust the water temperature properly. There was no holder for the toilet paper.

Wifi in the room was very slow. I tested it and found it to be below 1 Mbps - too slow for any video.

One has to catch a taxi to get to and from the airport. The ride is only 10 min but costs €30 each way. So this needs to be factored into the price of the hotel. Breakfast is an additional €15.

The term "feng shui" is a Chinese concept meaning a design, furnishings and ambience that are conducive to the positive energy flows of nature. This is a complete misnomer for this hotel. My room certainly had zero feng shui.

Overall, disappointing hotel. I expected better from the reviews. My stay was not very comfortable and it is not great value for money.

Booked directly on their website, first time I stay in this hotel but got upgraded to a very nice room. Hotel is just 5 minutes walk from main shopping street and from city center.
I loved that in the room you have a switch on/off for WIFI. So you can turn it off when sleeping.

The hotel personnel were incredibly helpful. We arrived late and they helped us order food -they had several options for us-. There were drinks in the mini bar for free and breakfast was absolutely outstanding! Very impressed about service!

Unexpected stay

This was an unexpected stay, we missed our connecting flight & were put up at this little hotel, rooms were small but clean, very close to the quaint little town & the breakfast was amazing, staff were friendly & welcoming
