Strategic location for exploring Taipei
jcm1009on 24/07/2017 16:29The location right at exit M3 of the main train station is overly convenient, yet relatively quiet since there is no nightlife in this area. It's just over two MRT stations at the intersection of the red and blue lines, serving all main attractions. Many taxis are waiting in front of the hotel, good for a quick trip to one of the night markets. Quite a few restaurants nearby at Breeze (2nd floor of the main station) or across the street like Tim Ho Wan. 7-eleven store in front of the hotel opens 24h and you have a fridge in the room. Rooms are not new but clean, functional and in perfect condition. Well-equiped as well with lots of amenities and japanese style toilet seats. Only thing is they are not too spacious. The double beds for instance are small by today's standards, and you'll hit the ceiling in the bathroom if you're taller than 1.85m. Front desk staff was professional, friendly and quick to respond, jumping in to install an access point in the room when we had problems with wifi late at night.
Old but Perfect
Kathy Mon 23/07/2017 13:53This hotel is a little bit old yet it is neat and clean, at a fantastic location, And with a friendly and most helpful crew of staff.
Taipei Main Station is within minutes of walk under the roof thus no worry of rain or sun. Regardless whether you want to fly, take the high speed train, subway, buses, you have it.
Of course, it is also in an area with countless restaurants and shopping.

Matt Mon 14/07/2017 02:31This hotel is ideal for travellers on a stopover for a few nights in Taipei - out of our window we can see the huge Taipei Main Station where MRT, airport buses and even the double decker tour buses leave from. The hotel even has its own exit from the station - M3. Staff here speak good English and are very friendly. The hotel itself is a little older, maybe 30 years old, but the facilities are in good repair and our room was very nice and certainly big enough for the four of us with two queen beds.

Johnson Gon 13/07/2017 07:23This is the 3rd time staying at this hotel because of its location, friendly staff and clean environment. The hotel is very well known thus easy for people to tell the taxi driver where you are heading to if you are coming back to the hotel.
My wife and I is here for our 20th Anniversary and was very delighted to have our twin room upgraded to the VIP room with jacuzzi hot tube.

They were kind that they booked reservation at a restaurant we wanted to go, they gave us a recommendation where a good foot massage place is near the hotel, and they gave a recommendation about a breakfast restaurant for soy bean soup near the restaurant and even printed the menu for us!
Also every time when we wanna take a taxi, they tell the taxi driver where we wanna go, so I don't have to worry that the taxi driver would take us somewhere we don't know.
