What People are saying

Uncomfortable bed and pillow

pattiw70on 06/06/2017 14:34

Breakfast was good, there was a variety to choose from. The staff was very friendly. The beds and pillows are not comfortable, could not sleep well and the room was either hot and too cold. We will not be staying here again.

Newly remodeled, great staff

Clean, newly remodeled room. Now it will be up to the cleaning staff to keep the details clean, like the top edge of the shower enclosure, the corners etc. the hot tub was at most, warm, but it was much too late in the night to bother asking to have this attended to. Breakfast was okay and included sausage, scrambled eggs and the normal Continental fare of make your own waffles, biscuits and gravy, coffee and juice.

Great Quality

I stayed at the Country Inn Suites with my two kids who are five and three years old. This hotel was very family friendly. It was in a safe location that was easily accessible off highway 40. The pool was very nice which was a plus for our family!

Was first class once, but now....

The hotel was once quite wonderful I think, but the furnishings and cleanliness have not been well maintained. There were chunks out of the desktop; obvious signs of mold, scrubbed off (mostly), but not painted over. The rug, I don't think, has ever been shampooed. There were solid marks (of gum?) all over the carpet. The rooms are spacious, their pillow and bed were terrific. Their breakfast is a joke--no butter was to be found (or fruit). I would not stay there again.

Nice hotel

We stayed here for nearly a week while in town for a conference. Its location is very convenient and close to all kinds of dining and shopping. The current nearby construction was a little inconvenient but not terrible. The staff was friendly. The cookies were a nice touch and delicious! Our room was clean and spacious. Housekeeping did a great job! The TV and WiFi worked fine. We did have a few noise issues. We were on the first floor, down the hall from the front desk. It was VERY noisy the first night (a Saturday night). There were people roaming the hallways all night, and they were not quiet! We thought about asking to change rooms, but it did get better and we made sure to run the A/C unit if only for the noise! It was better the rest of the stay, although we did come back to our room once after midnight and there were folks just standing in the hallway, half-naked. Yikes! We understand a hotel cannot pick its guests! We just wish people had some common courtesy and decency! Overall, a great stay, and we would stay here again.
