Another great stay
Jon Mon 19/08/2017 06:13This was the second time we had stayed at this Country Inn. Just like last time our stay was amazing. This hotel is modern and very clean. The staff is always superb. They want to please. This is rare in many hotels today. We had booked a standard room on Priceline but we were able to upgrade to a king suite for a very low price. The breakfast is hands down the best free breakfast of any hotel of which I have slept. They had sausage, biscuits, sausage gravy, oatmeal with fixings, several different types of breads (pastries, bagels, English muffins, toast etc.), waffles and much, much more. Real plates and silverware make for a nice touch. We were going to stop in Nashville, but we drove a little further just to stay here. Yes, it's that good. We will definitely be back.
Price Shop Around for a Good Deal
Lee Con 16/08/2017 19:50The hotel was brand new and very clean. It obviously made a great transition from the old Baymont and the rooms/hallway/lobby sparkled.
Located just off the expressway in Cookeville are plenty of hotel options. Since they are adjacent to each other and none of them are "high end" hotels, my recommendation is to price shop and swing the best deal you can before selecting one. That's what I did during my four night stay and I averaged about $90 per night.
The sink and mirror are separated from the bathroom so it can help to speed up get-ready time. Everything else standard. We had a king bed instead of two queens, but for the price, it was acceptable. We never ate breakfast there as we had to be on the go each morning, but from what I observed, it was the same old stuff that 15 other chains offer (it's fine, but nothing to base your decision on!).
Plenty of restaurant options in the immediate area, though 99.9% are chain restaurants. That, too, could be a positive or a negative, depending on why you're staying in the Cookeville area.
Clean, new, and offered at a good price. Hard to beat that.
AWESOME
Teresa Lon 16/08/2017 19:35Great room, nice pool, too lazy to get up to get breakfast but looked nice. I loved this hotel! and there was so many restaurants near. I stayed here on a trip to chase waterfalls at cummins falls state park and rock island state park! also amazing
Very Pleased--Wonderful room and staff!!
TNtraveler10_10on 16/08/2017 19:25Due to my husband's recent open heart surgery at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center--within 15 min of the hotel; my stay of 6 nights-- under somewhat stressful circumstances was made less stressful via the wonderful friendly staff (Hannah, Daniel and Michael--THANK YOU!). The room was clean, comfortable and well stocked each day by housekeeping. Because of the nature of my visit, I was able to eat breakfast only twice; but when I did, it had a variety of items and good quality. I did, however, return from the hospital at around 6pm most days and there were cookies, coffee and often fruit in the breakfast area. On the day of surgery the staff even offered me some complimentary bottles of water (Hannah) and later in my stay, fresh coffee (Daniel). Because of the proximity of the Medical Center, special rates were honored for family. Check out was flexible (Michael) and it took very little time. My experience was excellent in every way!
What Nice People
tnrosebud2016on 15/08/2017 23:44Very impressed!
My husband and I have stayed at this hotel several times in the last month. Everyone from the Front Desk, to Breakfast Attendants,to Room Cleaning Services were so hospitable and so accommodating. I can not say enough about how friendly and helpful everyone was. Breakfast was excellent, Rooms very Clean, Newly Updated Facilities! Also had great suggestions for restaurants, You will not be disappointed in any way when you book this hotel. The location is excellent, there are lots restaurants and lots of things to do in this area. Oh and did I mention they always had fresh cookies and great coffee available. Whenever we come back this way, we will definitely stay again. One very minor issue, we like softer beds...Maybe you could have several rooms with softer beds available. Again, not that big of a deal, just a suggestion. Thanks, and keep up the good work! You have a great team!! The Coopers from SDakota
