What People are saying

The smell of cleaning chemicals was terrible

xconeon 30/07/2017 18:17

Comfort Inn just took over this site and I hope they can improve it for future people but I won't stay again. The staff was great, especially when we had a problem with our toilet. After reporting that it wouldn't flush, we found out the lady behind the desk was the only one there so she gave us a plunger so we could try to fix it. That didn't work so we asked to be moved. Luckily, it wasn't full so we could get another room. It appears there are renovations going on because in our new room, there was an area where there was missing trim along the floor that looked like it had been removed and not replaced. Room 201. Beds are comfortable, shower was good but there was a ding and crack in the sink. We paid $170 for a room that didn't warrant that amount. Both rooms had a terrible cleaning chemicals smell and my clothes all smelled that way when I got home. It made me wonder if I was being exposed to something bad and our friends felt the same way. If we come back, I will stay somewhere else.

Not a bad place to stay

Stayed here with my family visiting the MLB Hall of Fame. It was clean but I thought it was a little expensive for the place and amenities. I guess for the area the price mat be rasonable. Staff were courteous. No complaints.

Very Disappointing

Booked for two nights. For a special trip with my son to go to the Hall of Fame. He was very excited to go swimming in the pool so our first night after dinner we went to the pool after about 5 minutes there was a big black spider in the pool and we got out went to the front desk and said something. The girl working, in front of my 6 year old says "oh sh**, hopefully I can find a skimmer" and walked off. The beds in our room were not fully made, there was all kinds of banging at 11pm. We ended up checking out the next morning. And when we did I asked to speak to a manager and there wasn't even one there. I will say the man Jay, who helped us check out early was very helpful and did apologize for our disappointment. Honestly his service was the only nice part of our stay. Would not recommend though and will not be returning next time we're in town.

Disappointing

Stayed here from 28/12 to 31/12 2016. Good rooms & staff friendly but otherwise disappointing. Alterations being made & we weren't told of this when booking. Foyer completely out of use. Long walk to breakfast down corridor covered in debris each day. No attempt to clean this up in the 3 days. Breakfast was a farce as every day there were problems with food & drinks which meant additional treks up to the front desk. Apparently they don't employ anyone to oversee breakfasts in winter. It is up to reception staff & being so far away they are not on top of things. On leaving we sent an email outlining our dissatisfaction but no acknowledgement! We were there in snow & had to complain to get the steep drive way cleared so we could get out

OK for a weekend

Farther from town than I realized when booking, so alot of driving. Check in man was pleasant. Room was ok but molding was off in the bathroom so kind of crude looking. Only one washcloth so had to ask for more. Only a couple items in vending machine so luckily we didn't want anything. Everytime we went in or out, different person at the desk, just seems strange. Might or might not ever stay again.
