An absolute GEM in the middle of nowhere
ninan885on 30/05/2017 14:26This hotel may be more expensive than all the others in the area and further away from downtown Alexandria but, your stay will be extremely worth it. It is always kept clean AND orderly. The linen and towels are not budget fare at all. The room amenities are comparable to a Marriott. The staff is always pleasant and accommodating. Then there's Mr Alfred. He can be seen working the dining area during Sunday breakfast. He makes the breakfast experience in this hotel incomparable to any other. I love, love this hotel and will always choose to stay here over the new hotels that have lately sprung up in downtown Alexandria.

382mauricecon 28/05/2017 10:44Country Inn & Suites welcomed me from day 1 (one), with a warm reception. The entire Country Inn & Suites staff was very professional and exceeded my expectations. I would like to personally commend the entire staff at Country Inn & Suites for a perfect two-week business stay, everyone from the reservations clerk to the on-duty manager, from housekeeping to Mr. Alfred and staff. I have to give a special shout out to Mr. Alfed and staff, every day at breakfast I felt the love, their untiring dedication to Customer Service is, "Second to None"!
Best hostelry in Central Louisiana
Franklin Hon 27/05/2017 11:48Over the past four years, we have stayed perhaps 350 nights at hotels near Alexandria Louisiana and Fort Polk and Country Inn and Suites is easily the best of all the upper-middle places to stay. It starts at the top with conscientious management that is always looking for a way to satisfy customers ever (as we have observed) unreasonable clients. Desk is extremely well handled, with check in and check out absolutely smooth. Rooms themselves are well laid out, very clean, with far better than typical beds and good showers/bath. The internet, a problem a few years back, now works just fine. Breakfast is more than ample with freshly cooked eggs and bacon and oodles of other extras. Not plastic plates and crummy cheap cuts, and regular tableware to boot. Lots of little extras here: airport pickup if needed; daily newspaper, freshly baked cookies several times a day. Parking is ample and well lit. Hotel is in extremely safe location but has a night guard for extras. Pool is clean and little workout room is decent. Top Review from a former Ambassador who has been to 140 countries and wrote LetsGo: Europe, a student guidebook many years ago, thus acquainting himself with hotels great, so-so, and bad.

angied584on 25/05/2017 10:10I enjoy staying at the Country Inn and suites it is clean!!! The front desk staff are soooo nice and even the cleaning personal are so nice. They make fresh cookies for guests!!! The pool is nice, they have a gym a free lending library !!! I always stay here when I am in Pineville!
