Minnesota Country hospitality

Forest Lake Country Inn was warm, friendly and clean. It was a perfect base for visiting relatives in the area. We took full advantage of the pool and breakfasts in January and again this July. There are first class restaurants in walking distance.

When we pulled up to the hotel, I thought it looked decent but not outstanding. My opinion changed to "outstanding " though after spending the night here.

The hotel was spotlessly clean, including our room. The bathroom looked like it had been recently remodeled. The beds were really comfortable, as were the pillows. We all slept great.

The breakfast area was more spacious than many hotel breakfast areas. Impeccably clean and nicely presented. I had this breakfast bagel that had egg and cheese on it, and it was delicious. I told my family later that this was one of the best breakfasts at a hotel I've had.

We did not have time to use the pool unfortunately, but it and the hot tub looked quite nice when we looked at them through the pool area windows.

The rooms were clean and accommodations meet all our expectations. Just the right distance to the soccer tourney in Blaine. Restaurants and other stores are easily accessible. Will stay there again when in the area.

Above average breakfast, convenient to stores and restaurants, friendly staff. We really enjoyed our stay. We did not have a chance to use the pool but it looked nice and the people we saw using it seemed to be enjoying themselves. It also appeared to have a handicapped assist arm.
