Find somewhere else to stay
Jason Hon 19/05/2017 00:38Their lobby is nice and the staff is ok, but other than that this place is a mess. I arrived after a long trip. Check-in started out smooth, but after hauling my luggage up to my room, the key didn't work. So I had to haul everything back down to get it fixed. You'll see this in other reviews, the elevator is so slow. It feels like you're waiting for 20 minutes. I had trouble connecting to the internet once I actually got in the room. I called the front desk for assistance, no answer. I let it ring for about 15 minutes before someone answered and directed me to a different number for help. Finally connected. The first night wasn't too bad after that. The second or third day it reached about 100°. The air conditioner broke. I woke up sweaty to a room that was about 80°. I called the front desk, they said they would set someone up (no one showed up). I called back, and they told me someone did look at it (they didn't). They said it was working fine (it wasn't). Meanwhile, it's still nearly 80° in here. Maybe I just caught them on a bad day, but I travel A LOT and this was a rough trip. I regret staying here.
Thank you for providing great service!!!
QueensKTon 16/05/2017 18:52The best thing about this hotel for me, was the customer service. Almost each and every person was extremely friendly, and genuinely happy to help. The only person that I did not experience great service from, was the gentleman that worked at the coffee bar. He was rude, and had an attitude for no reason. It was ok though, because the rest of the staff made up for it.
Whitney at the front desk was so nice from the moment I checked in. Also, my refrigerator in my room did not work, and I discovered this the morning after my first night here, causing me to throw away a bunch of items that I put in there the night before. I mentioned this to Whitney only to let them know so that they could fix it after I leave, and he was so apologetic. He said that he wanted to take care of breakfast for me for the rest of my stay. He did not have to do that, but I appreciated it very much.
The common areas of the hotel are nice, but the rooms need a serious renovation. The friendly employees of this hotel definitely made up for this. The only thing that I found a little odd, was that there was a menu in the room for the restaurant, however it did not list any prices.
Thank you Courtyard Natick for a great experience!
Rooms OK + clean but excessive prices for hotel standard, not working remote and other little issues
bpo-spamon 04/05/2017 15:01Stayed for a business trip for three nights. Welcome at reception was friendly, check-in efficient.
The room was spacious and clean, the bed comfortable. The hotel has a 'cafe' with few choices for breakfast and Starbucks coffee.
The downside was the extremely noisy air conditioning in the room - you could not have it running at night without waking up. There was the remote control that did not work (presumably empty batteries, but the lid was screwed on so you could not replace them yourself). On top of that, the room service did not put any shower gel or shampoo, but plenty of conditioners. So overall, it's a poor facility management but OK rooms. Looking at the price of the rooms: poor value for money! Paying $234 per night for such a room and service is excessive for this location and standard.
Easy and comfortable stay
KF4140on 23/04/2017 14:54Nothing but a positive experience at this hotel all around. Note, their elevators are incredibly slow, it was a common joke among people around and in the elevators. Good thing stairs are an option. Front desk staff friendly and helpful, as with the food/beverage staff. Everyone was very attentive. Rooms and bathrooms were very clean and comfortable, parking is convenient. Everything you could need is around this hotel.
Unprofessional Management
27disgustedon 20/04/2017 21:08As a Marriott Rewards Member, I am very upset about our recent stay at this Marriott Courtyard. Although the rooms were clean, I was very dissatisfied with the treatment we received after checkout. After we left the hotel, I realized I left a shopping bag with merchandise in the bag with price tags still attached. I realized the bag was left behind as were half way home. I called immediately and was told the the head of house keeping was not in. I was transferred to that department so I could leave a voice mail. I did not receive a call back until 3 days later!!! I did call them every day only to be told i needed to speak with house keeping and was transferred but never connected with a housekeeper. I did ask the front desk if the room was occupied and that perhaps the bag was missed and could still be in the room but he never commented. Finally housekeeping called me today (3 days after I first called) to tell me that they don't look in shopping bags so it must have been thrown in the trash and if I had called sooner they could have looked through the trash. I have left items behind at Marriott's in the past (maybe once or twice several years ago) and have had them sent to me so I was very upset with the way this was handled. I would not recommend using this Marriott Courtyard - it leads me to believe my things were taken or tossed away without any consideration, and left me feeling like they really didn't care about getting in touch with me with their weak explanation.
