Emily Kon 01/08/2017 15:44This is by far my favorite Courtyard anywhere. I have stayed at a dozen around the country. The facilities and staff at this location sets the bar. I work in a luxury resort and have high standards. The staff and ownership at this Courtyard should be given praise! I recommend anyone to stay here for a comfortable, nice place to rest and to enjoy their wonderful amenities by their smart and courteous staff.
Clean, convenient
gorningmelissaon 24/07/2017 23:10Stayed here with family on our way up to petoskey...place was clean and updated. Small bar with food, and Starbucks coffee in the morning. One of the families we stayed with had a room with 2 king sized beds which was nice, ESP if you have teenage boys and you need more room. Right off the highway, also close to a Cracker Barrel and an Outback Steakhouse.
Have mixed feelings
Drpadon 17/07/2017 22:17Tough review, have mixed feeling on the experience. We were part of a group staying there, attending a wedding reception nearby. Personal experience was ok, in fact if I was doing a personal review it would have been a higher rating. The check-in staff was nice, the room was pleasant, though on the warm side. The group was not handled so well. The hotel forgot to hand out goodie bags that had been personally put together by the bride mother, and communicated with them numerous time. Then they tried to blame the bride's mother?
The group spent A LOT of money in the bar area, after the wedding. The hotel even needed to call a desk person to help out. The regular attendant was nice, but it felt like we were imposing on the desk staff helper. The group was well behaved and spent heavily at $5 a regular beer, one should not feel like an imposition.
Check-out was accurate and again the staff was pleasant to deal with. Better to be a person than a group.
Great hotel in Brighton
Eric073on 02/07/2017 14:56My family of four stayed one night and had a great experience. From check in to check out every staff member we encountered was accommodating and friendly. The room was very clean and quiet and had ample plugs and USB ports to charge all of our devices. The beds were very comfortable, we all commented on how well we slept. Definitely recommend this hotel!
Nice place
robbclaudon 28/06/2017 12:19Traveled on business to this location. The room was in good shape. For the price, would have expected a full breakfast, but if you just need a good place to work and rest, will meet your needs. Starbucks downstairs in lobby.
