Clean and comfortable
Tiara Von 25/08/2017 21:30We booked one night here togerher with 2 day pass to the Movie Park. Booking was uncomplicated through the Movie Park Holiday website. Checking in was also easy and smooth, free parking are available outside the hotel.
Breakfast was great with various selection of cold cuts, cheese, yoghurt, cereal and muesli, scrambled eggs were very delicious and fresh, waffle mix was available next to the waffle maker to make by ourselves, vegetables, fresh fruits and fruit salad.... all what you need to start your day! Will definitely choose this hotel again if we travel around this area again next time.
Good quality Courtyard by Marriott
Erkki Lon 24/06/2017 19:03This hotel was good, but nothing special. Service was according to DIN norm and rooms were clean with a good bed. Wifi worked very well, but breakfast was very expensive and the restaurant complicated for the young one. We ended up eating at the Harry's bar in the hotel, which was good food.
OK Stay, Credit Card Incorrectly Charged and Not Handled Well
thought_for_travelon 28/03/2017 14:01We booked this hotel for our 5 day Germany Trip based on reviews. Overall the stay was fine - nothing extraordinary in terms of service, just pleasant. Other than reporting that the elevator often doesn't open on our floor when we use it, that was certainly not enough to ruin our stay.
However, dealing with the staff post check-out was not great. We booked via hotels.com and my husband's card was charged immediately - fine. A few days after our departure I noticed my card which was used at check-in was charged too for a different/lower amount (it was NOT a pending charge). I called and dealt with an incredibly rude female who kept saying it was an authorization. When I asked how much an incidental hold was she did not respond. I asked to speak with someone else and she told me to call back after 4pm (I called around 10am). She kept telling me it was an authorization and I kept telling her my credit card company said it wasn't. I explained I'm sure they charged my personal card instead of the third party virtual credit card hence the difference in prices being charged to my card and my husbands. Regardless she didn't even check our reservation and kept insisting it was an authorization. I found this incredibly frustrating and agreed to call back later. I call after 5pm and kept getting transferred to voicemails. Long story short I called back a fourth time a few days later and finally got a hold of the manager on duty (I think her name is Kirsten?) who was pleasant, efficient and competent. She spoke with her reservations team and called me back confirming that I was correct. I thanked her for her time and explained I don't mind the issue happening especially if it is rectified because mistakes do happen, however it is HOW the issue was dealt with which completely frustrated me. If I had dealt with the manager on duty from the beginning I would have easily given this at least a four star review. We plan on visiting Germany often as we are close by but I am definitely not returning to this hotel if this is how the hotel operator/front desk treats guests after they leave and collect their money, especially when management is not around. I'm usually a huge fan of Marriott as a brand but this was disappointing and left a negative impression on me.

Did stadium tour organised by Hotel. Stadium a 2 minute walk away.
Rooms clean and Marriott esq.
Lunch ok.
Didn't use gym, but it's on top floor.

Chris Lon 21/10/2016 06:03I stayed here for 4 nights. The service was very good. Gym is a little small with limited weights but ok, I used it early morning and had it to myself. The restaurant and bar adequate, breakfast was good. The room was spacious and clean.
