Relatively clean, but not organized well at the front desk
RoyLScamon 12/08/2017 17:52Basically, just an average hotel and not really near to Indy. The front desk did not have a room upgrade for me as promised and we had to waste time getting that changed, so a C+ for preparation. I will say that the landscaping for a hotel at this price point was quite outstanding and their flower gardens were fantastic!
Helpful Staff, Clean and Neat
David Kon 26/07/2017 03:24Sometimes the nicest thing about a hotel is that there are no surprises. This facility is clean, modern, nice sized rooms and enough amenities. Free internet, room fridge and a nice outdoor courtyard.
My reason for the 5-star rating is the service I received when I rolled in at 10pm. The desk manager, Brian, was extremely helpful and accomodating. He went out of his way to show me the best place to park, directions to a local store I was looking for and, provided me with a nice tall glass from the closed bar for my in-room, self-made cocktail. I never had such service in any level of hotel.
The only detractor is that the walls are a little "thin". I could here a muffled conversatin and the TV next door.
Great location and customer service!
gwevanson 16/07/2017 20:46This hotel had a great location, close to the highway, restaurants and the mall. Our room was comfortable and the beds wonderful. We enjoyed the courtyard at night as well as the lounge in the lobby.
Negative: our room did not have a microwave but the same room next door did.
Brian at the front desk made everyone feel at home with his wonderful customer service. And Susan in the breakfast room was very accomodating. The cleaning service was very good, and overall is was a great stay.
Really nice staff, but that's about it :(
lcaseltineon 14/03/2017 02:55Evidently our room flooded prior to our arrival (not sure why they couldn't have contacted us before check in) so we had to downgrade on our room. We had hoped for a quiet, romantic anniversary weekend, but thanks to a really loud, obnoxious sporting team of kids, that didn't happen. Poor parenting at it's finest. The mom in charge seemed to be oblivious to the other guests allowing a screaming contest between the kids at the pool. Truly ridiculous. I personally wont be back even though the staff was very apologetic.
Good, older hotel
Jennifer Bon 27/02/2017 18:57We stayed here as part of a youth travel sports tournament. Staff were very accommodating when a leak was found in our room-- they moved us immediately. This hotel is an older Courtyard, but old doesn't mean bad--- the facilities are in great shape. Large open lobby with a bar. Indoor pool looked good (we didn't swim). We would stay here again.
